~ arma couture ~

i when to arma's yesterday..

i've already booked them for our

reception date on november '09..

m booking arma couture for our

pelamin and hall decor, and also

wedding attire for ajoy & i for

my reception..

so for pelamin, we've decided to

go for the size of 30' x 12'.. hmm

caner nak explain ek.. simply put,

we'll be having a white & purple

theme.. and if u go to arma's blog,

then u'll have some idea of wat

our pelamin will look like.. hehe..

and i really love the arch that they

suggested for us.. something different..

as for my wedding dress.. i actually

tried two dresses that i could rent..

both were beautiful... i really loved

the first dress' top, and d 2nd dress'

bottom, or the skirt part.. so i

decided to still go for 'sewa baru',

whc means i could have a new dress,

new design but after my wedding, i

dont have to keep d dress, whc is sooo

wat i wanted.. hehe.. anyway, it is almost

like wat i designed but better.. becoz

m an amateur.. hehehe.. so my design

is of coz very amateur-ish.. but arma's

design was wayyyyyy better than mine

of course.. because he's a designer! :D

and i LOVE arma's design!

i cant wait to see everything being

realised..

~ checking in ~

havent checked in here for quite awhile kan hehe..

sorry, been bz layan suami tercinta.. :)

and also kemas all the stuff from our respective

parents' house..

so now, all stuff are already unpacked..

alhamdulillah..

wat's new other than tat..?

well, i juz found out tat i might have a cyber stalker..

i juz hope he only cyber stalks me, and not physically

do that.. because if we catch u do tat, yes i'm talking

to you mr cyber stalker, we will not hesitate to report

you to the police.

oh yeah, we've also paid our first deposit to our

reception hall.. mana eh? we chose this hotel @ kl..

great food.. tp hall kecik.. can only fit 400 pax max..

so the downside of this hall is tat i cant invite as many

ppl as i want to.. so it will be quite a small reception..

apa lagi ek.. oh yeah, ajoy n i went to watch movie

last nite.. cirque du freak : vampire's assistant.. we

went to the curve.. our movie was at 12.15 a.m.

midnite movie baby!! hehehe.. excited coz before tis

cannot watch midnite movie sbb m still living with my

parents.. now can la coz da kawin hehehe.. we arrived

quite early.. around 10 p.m. kut.. so tak tau nk buat apa

in between plus i was quite hungry, we decided to lepak

at garden cafe.. i ordered iced honey lemon and caesar

salad while ajoy ordered fried calamari and iced tea..

food was good, but service sucks big time.. dont know y,

but maybe because they juz opened and didnt expect a

crowd like yesterday..

~ meant to be ~

d more ajoy and i spend time together,

d more i feel we've always meant to be

together. as for ajoy, he felt tat a long

time ago da.. juz waiting for me to realise

it je..

truth is, when we were friends, these

revelations of things between us tat

are similar did trigger a question or two

in my head whether m gonna end up with him.

of coz time tu i didnt realise tat i've always

loved him as more than a friend.. time tu,

he also knws y i wudnt even choose him..

as we get to know each other better, our

worlds get smaller.. here are the list:

~ we were both born in UK bcoz both our

parents studied in UK, tp different universities..

~ of course no i/c, tgh2 tu sama no 71..

~ my mum is chinese, his mum is half chinese. 

our dads are from negeri 9.. hehe..

~ we are both anak sulung

~ our family lived on the same street at one

time when we were very2 little.. i didnt

remember him being there then.. he was

staying more towards d end of d road, my

hse was more towards dpn2.. x sama geng.. :P

~ apparently his uncle knws my uncle and they

knw their friends and must i continue? small world!

~ we both used to work at glenmarie, but tak

pernah bump into each other..

~ our mum's dining table sebijik2 sama! haha..

relevant ke ni.. :P

~ oh yes, his family is now staying at tis area where

my family also used to live there before we moved

to where we are now..

apa lagi eh.. da tak boleh fikir da.. tp kira byk la tu kan..

so because of all these, i juz feel tat we're meant to be..

~ h.i.s.t.o.r.y ~

i met with one of my best friends yesterday..

H told me about a certain person from

my past who asked her about me.

thing is, not tat he asked H in a like long time

no hear from her kinda way.. but more like

he already knws everything, n juz checking

whether wat he knws tally with wat H knws.

and the things he knws, a big chunk of it,

even H doesnt knw. and even i cant remember it!

there are things tat friends juz somehow dont

tell our friends about it. for example wat car

our father is using now. because it is irrelevant

to the friendship, tats y. unless u're friends with

yr friends for un-pure reasons la kan.. so y

wud he expect H to knw tat? i dont even

knw keta apa ada kat umah H bcoz it is

irrelevant to our friendship.

and the things tat he knws even my other

family members doesnt know..

so yeah, it is puzzling how he knows so much about

me and my family. it is creepy too.

wat annoys me is tat not only is he sebok2 about

my life now, he's also so sebok about my family's

life. and i know for a fact, lepas ni sure dia korek2

about ajoy's family jugak.

and tis guy has d cheek to tell H tat i 'kawin dgn budak

sekolah sec 2 je'.. pls la k..

my ajoy is 1,000 times a better man

than u will ever be, LOSER!

not only he kept on investigating me, he has d cheek to

size us up! if we have this, he has to have better. how

pathetic n insecure can u be mr LOSER ??

da la da kawin, bini tgh ngandung, mend yr own life la!

yg ko sebok2 dgn EX ko punyer life tu naper??? if u

dont care about me, u wudnt even talk about me with H!

if u dont care about me, u wudnt even knw all ths. bcoz

i certainly dont care if u're dead or alive.. seriously dont

care. so pls lar mend yr own life!!

i really hope tat if u know so much about me, then u shud

knw tat i hv a blog. so read tis:

~ ikea & such ~

wahhh sejak da kawin ni makin bz la pulak ek..

hehehe.. dont get me wrong.. m juz so bz with

our house.. buying stuff.. arranging stuff..

organizing stuff.. installing stuff.. byk la benda

nak kena buat..

one of those things were shopping at ikea.. we

had to buy quite loads of stuff.. our house now

is taking more and more shape thanx to ikea..

so last monday we actually managed to fill up

about one and a half trolley of stuff at ikea..

and when we got to the cashier... cah-ching!!

amik kau.. rm1,200++ altogether ok.. hahahaha!!

we also went to giant to buy some household items..

kat giant pun hebat gak.. we spent about rm300 kut..

or more...

bayangkan la.. in one day, we spent more than rm1.5k..

juz for benda2 rumah.. tp, for the amount of items we

purchased, mmg berbaloi2.. hehehe..

and then the next day, we went to baagus windows..

mmg nk pegi da lama da.. nk tgk roman blinds.. we

wanted to use roman blinds for our windows.. dulu

not far back we went to dream living, and they quoted

us rm1.6k for 3 windows ~ master bedroom, dining room

and living room.. bapak mahal nk mampus.. and tu kira

da discount da tu..

and then we got macy to come and measure our windows,

patutnya nak pegi pilih kain.. tp tak pegi lagi.. in the end,

we bought our blinds from baagus.. kenapa? sbb sale diaorg

giler2.. we bought 3 blinds for all our 3 windows and we

spent less than rm400.. is tat a great deal or wat?? of course,

yg kat baagus ni is ready made la.. but still, they had great

choices.. smpi tak tau nk pilih mana nk beli.. tp if not for the

sales, baagus pun mahal giler gak.. hehe.. 

so for now, there are still a lot of stuff tat we brought from

our parents' house to unpack and organize..

~ bidet ~

bidet according to wikipedia is:

"A bidet is a low-mounted plumbing fixture

intended for washing the genitalia, inner

buttocks and anus."

i went to pyramid with ajoy today.. one thing

i really hate about pyramid is the toilet.. because

it has no bidet.. nyampah tul toilet yg pki air

pancut dr bawah dat serves no purpose tu..

it juz makes us feel so uncleaned.. yucksssss...

~ ri-yaz heritage: 5th & last day ~

18th dec was our last day at ri-yaz..

we had loads of things to do..

we first had our last bfast at the verandah..

left ri-yaz around 11am.. stopped

somewhere at kuala tganu to buy keropok..

and then we had nasi dagang for lunch at

dungun.. best sgt, mkn mengadap laut..

the portion is quite small, seketul ikan kecik je..

hehe.. for a person who eats more lauk than

nasi like me, rasa cam sikit jer.. tp alhamdulillah

the portion was ok..sbb before tat da mkn

kopok lekor at KT.. :) price nasi tu pun murah sgt2..

only rm2.50 tuk sepinggan.. and we had
air jagung ice blended.. sedapppppp...
ajoy told me org ganu pronounce it as 'air jegung'.. hehe..

so after lunch we continued our journey..

stopped at kuala abang to take photo of

the magnificent view.. and then we stopped

at kemaman to buy sata from warung aziz satar..

sata dia sedap, but i still cant help thinking about

the sata i had from pekan awhile back.. yg tu pun

sedap gak..

so from kemaman we went straight to kl.. arrived

gombak area ard 6pm.. lama kan? coz on our last

day, it was a very cold n wet n damp day.. takde

la hujan all the way but angin mmg kuat.. so sejukkkkk

gilerrrrr!! the result of tat ~ frequent trip to toilet.. hehe..

da la m the type yg memilih giler toilet.. tu yg jadi lagi

leceh tu.. hehehe.. anyway, we reached our home

at 7pm.. penat giler..

we reached home, and then siap2 nak pegi rebung

restaurant to celebrate ajoy's uncle's birthday pulak..

smpi rumah ard 12 midnite.. terus flat giler.. wat a day.. :)

~ ri-yaz heritage: 4th day ~

today as usual we had breakfast at

the verandah, the coffee house..

and again, verandah didnt dissapoint

us.. food mmg sedap.. pueh ati..

then we went to noor arfa craft centre..

ada 70% sale!! tp didnt buy much pun..

bought 2 pareos, 1 batik lepas and 1

kaftan for my MIL..

wanted to buy kain, but then i juz bought

a batik sutera at pasar payang yesterday

kan.. plus, i have 2 more kain at home

yg lum jahit lagi.. hehe.. da la jrg pakai

baju kurung kan..

we then had lunch at pizza hut giant KT.. haha..

da takde idea nk mkn apa.. but pizza hut

sini mmg tak best.. service slow.. and strangely,

on thursday, at 3 pm plus, ramai gilerrrrr org

dtg.. pelik tul.. tats y service slow sgt..

the weather today kept changing from hot to wet,

wet to hot.. so our plans byk gak yg terbantut..

we actually wanted to go to taman tamadun islam

after lunch, tp hujan lebat.. so balik bilik je la kan..

around 430pm, the weather was superb! so we

juz went swimming..

then we had dinner at this place called warung

norazila.. we had ginger & lime steamed fish,

sotong masak cili, sambal udang, kailan ikan

masin n rice.. fuhhhh sedapppppp... and very2

filling.. ajoy mkn smpi mengah.. hehehe..

so now, m at tropic bistro, temankan ajoy jumpa

his biz partners.. :)

~ ri-yaz heritage: 1st - 3rd day ~

hi all.. before i forget wat to write,

i better write about my honeymoon

here at ri-yaz heritage, pulau duyong,

kuala terengganu..

ri-yaz heritage is very2 beautiful..
they use a lot of wood for their
suites, spa, lobby, everything..
maybe sbb tu d rate agak mahal..

tp.. i dont quite like the staffs'
uniforms.. pakai t-shirts jer..
mcm tak kena dgn wat we're paying for.
but the best part is their buggy service..
wanna go anywhere, juz call and
then there'll be a buggy waiting
to drive u to where u wanna go to
within the hotel area.

we arrived very late, around 7pm..

so by the time we arrived n checked in,

we were starving.. so we ordered in from

room service.. we ordered chicken chop

n fish & chips.. sedapppppp...

bilik mmggggg cantikkkkkk... all
amenities n facilities ada.. tp kan..
the water bidet pulak bocor.. so
called d maintenance and they
immediately changed to a new one..

2nd day, we had breakfast at the Verandah,

ri-yaz's coffee house.. pun sedap gak.. hehe..

then we had lunch at bora-bora cafe at KT..

pun sedap gak.. alhamdulillah.. so far our

food sedap hihi.. we also went to pasar

payang on our 2nd day here.. bought a batik

sutera.. murah gak rasanya rm150 je kut..

and then ajoy brought me to tganu's airport..

cantik giler airport dia!!

and then dinner we had pasta nite at the
verandah.. sedap... i had spaghetti bolognase,
and ajoy had hawaian pizza.. pizza dia besar,
can eat for two ppl.. and cheap too.. rm13 jer..
my spaghetti was about rm18 kut.. tak igt..
we had mocktails for our beverage.. i had
watermelon lychee, and ajoy had ri-yaz
tea breeze whc is a combination of iced
tea, lemon & mint.. sedappp...

3rd day, we wanted to go to noor arfa's

craft centre tp da tutup da by d time we

got there.. so we went to pantai batu buruk

instead.. walked along the beach.. chewahhh..

cam romantic gitu.. and then we played kites..

best sgt coz angin kuat gilerrrr... :)

well, tats all for now.. biasa la 1st honeymoon,

not much to report kan.. hehe.. :)

~ incident @ masjid ~

on the same day as my nikah ceremony,

whc is 12 dec 09, there's a so-called

artiste who was also scheduled to nikah

on the same day too.. her name is aien..

who is the twin sister of ekin, mawi's wife..

one thing i would like to point out here is,

we had our mini kenduri after nikah at

kedai kopi 2 because we couldnt get to

use the dewan makan. masjid staff said

on weekends nobody can use the dewan

mkn because it is used for org kursus kawin..

we also couldnt set up any khemah on the

masjid premise..

however, upon arrival at masjid, i saw ppl

eating very2 near the dewan nikah, and

before i could process wat was going on,

my mum told me tat because aein tu is going

to nikah there, so they could use the dewan

and budak2 kursus kawin terpaksa mkn kat

tepi2.. huh? apahal lak ni.. giler double standard..

juz bcoz yg nk kawin tu adik ipar mawi terus

dpt guna dewan mkn??

but then i was like lantak la.. and went into the

dewan nikah.. as it is, our imam jurunikah byk

sgt appoinment nikah dia, so he really speed up

our nikah.. mmg laju giler la.. and then as i was

sitting on my nikah cushion, i saw a security guard

marching in and talked to one of my uncles. i

wondered wat was going on, and asked sha, my

pengapit wat time was it. sha said 1145am.. belum

kul 12 pun lagi da tak sabar2 nk halau kitaorg..

but kitaorg buat tak tau je dgn guard tu.. tak cukup

tu, pengarah jais pulak barged in to take over..

sabar je la..

u see, wat happened was their mistake.. we booked

the place from 1030am to 12noon.. and nikah should

be at 1130am. but they told my mum tat my nikah

should be from 1030 - 1130am. suka2 ati je nk

tentukan bila kitaorg nk kena nikah. pdhal we've

already booked our imam jurunikah at 1130am,

not 1030am. know y? we found out because aien

nk nikah at 1212 noon.. because of this, pihak

masjid n jais pushed our nikah forward without

informing us earlier. stakat bgtau on tat day, masa

kitaorg smpi jgn harap la kitaorg nk give in..

wat made us mad is tat pihak masjid n jais tak

respect majlis org, main terjah majlis org juz because

nk amik hati artis yg kawin dato duda. sbb mamat

tu dato? pls la.. kitaorg da byr booking lama da..

ajoy n i was the first to book d dewan nikah for the

month of december, let alone 12hb tu.. awal giler

kitaorg book.. so our family n i really couldnt care

less about sape yg nk nikah lepas kitaorg.. hak

kitaorg ttp hak kitaorg.

apa yg pihak masjid n pengarah jais tu buat sikit

pun tak mencerminkan ajaran Islam dalam

menghormati majlis n respect org lain. semata2 sbb

nk masuk paper, nk masuk tv, suka2 hati diaorg je

nak push other ppl around.. sabar je la..

~ our solemnization ~

blog ni i try tulis dlm b.melayu k.. baru feel.. hehe..

alhamdulillah, ajoy & i telah selamat dinikahkan

pd 12 disember 2009 di masjid sultan salahuddin

abdul aziz shah, shah alam dgn sekali lafaz sahaja..

walaupun majlis telah pun selesai, malangnya majlis

kami tidak berjalan seperti yg diharapkan, byk sgt

gangguan2 luar yg berada di luar kawalan kami. yg

tu nanti aku citer kat blog lain..

tp yg penting, kami telah pun sah menjadi suami isteri..

hehehehe.. mula2 masa kat masjid tu, belum rasa apa2

lagi.. masa mkn pun masih mcm tak percaya pun ada jugak..

apa pun aku mmg bangga dgn ajoy sbb kat masjid s.alam

ni takde bg script tuk pengantin baca.. aku mmg nk sgt

dgr dia lafaz sendiri, baru kita tau dia betul2 nk kawin

dgn kita kan.. sbb aku tau byk masjid skang siap bg

script tuk pengantin baca... bg aku tak aci ar.. mmg lah

boleh skali lafaz.. kecuali kalau org tu tak reti membaca la kan..

and the moment ajoy habis lafaz, time tu jugak aku pun

lepaskan nafas aku.. sbb masa ajoy nk start lafaz tu aku dah

tak boleh bernafas dah. hehehe.. ermm, pd sape2 yg laki dia

baca script tu, jgn terasa eh, blog ni takde kena mengena dgn

korang, takde masa aku nk kena2kan sape2.. sekian tima kasih.. :)

ok, perjalanan majlis eh.. lepas kami nikah di masjid,

tetamu (keluarga & teman rapat) di jemput turun ke

kedai kopi 2, taman tasik s.alam utk menjamu selera.

makanan alhamdulillah sedap..

lepas tu kitaorg g outdoor photoshoot kat muzium,

kat padang dpn muzium tu, and sekitar kwsn s.alam la..

setelah selesai tangkap2 gmbr, kitaorg balik ke rumah

mummy (mak aku la tu) sbb photographer nk amik gmbr

hantaran.. masa kat masjid tak sempat, sbb kan citer yg

aku akan citer nanti.. pastu aku pun kuarkan brg2 hntrn,

and kemas2 dulang2 semua tuk pulangkan pd tuan empunya...

settle semua ni baru la aku & suami aku (ecehhhhh hehehe)

gerak ke rumah mama & babah kitaorg (rumah mak dia la tu)..

kat sini ada la makan2 & sesi karaoke sikit.. kitaorg lepak sana

smpi la malam sbb kwn2 ajoy ramai dtg n lepak..

so dlm kul 1130pm kut, baru la kitaorg dpt gerak balik ke

rumah kitaorg.. nasib baik la semua2 rumah tu kat s.alam je..

~ zit zat zit ~

i have a zit! again!

arghhhhh... maybe all these

stress about our upcoming

big day plus our house

plus cleaning up my room

is really getting in my skin..

literally... :(

i really.. really.. REALLY

hope it will go down by

saturday.. kalau tak.. sighhh..

ok, on a much happier note,

since i havent blogged for 2 days,

ajoy came back from tganu last

monday and we had a movie

marathon! hehehe.. giler gak la..

because we havent had d chance

to for quite some time.. and tis

will be our last movies as singles!

so we watched new moon and

couples retreat.. back2back. like

we only had like 5 mins break..

giler kan.. but fun as h*ll.. :D

and then we bought a painting

for our room.. abstract.. as how

my mum puts it 'u've always loved

abstract paintings kan..' hehe..

yes i do, mummy.. :)

well, tu je la for now.. dont really

knw wat else to blog about..

~ thirty ~

putting aside today because it is already
half of d day, i have 4 more days til
my wedding day..

i still cant believe m actually getting married..
but m glad that i finally found love, even at
the age of 30.. the age whre most of my
friends, acquaintance, peers, colleagues and
even my mother & aunties have had at least
one child..

but i've never looked at my life tat way.. i've
never felt self-pity of not being married at the
age of 29, and when i first entered 30.. maybe
because i have come to accept that i will never
be married becoz m juz too scared of marriage..

but when the big W knocks on my door, and
opening it i found ajoy standing outside it, i am
pleasantly suprised to find myself welcoming
the big W into my life..

30..31..32.. age really is juz a number. i know
many girls out there who are approaching tis age,
or are already in this category feels the pressure
from family members & friends..

imho, we should have faith there is someone out
there for us. maybe tat guys hasnt knocked on yr
door yet. sometimes it is because we still have a lot
to experience in our life so tat when he finally arrives,
we will appreciate his presence n let him in..

maybe he did knocked before but it wasnt the right time
for u to open it yet.. to me, dont rush yrself to pull him
into yr life. if he is really into u, he'll wait at the door until
you invite him in..

eh, nape jadi love guru punyer session pulak ni.. hihi..

then again, life's a gamble kan.. some of wat i say may
not at all be applicable to everyone.. some marriage
works out juz fine even tho they didnt even know each
other from the beginning.. some marriage pulak, couple
da bertahun2 last fall apart pulak.. so yeah, life's a gamble.
juz be sure of wat u want, and wat u wanna do.
and then deal with watever comes next la kan..

crossing my fingers now, i juz hope my future marriage
will be d one i hope it will be, juz like any other women
out there does.. *cross fingers*

~ baked fish with steamed broccoli ~

haha da jadi foodie blog la pulak..

tis is wat i had for lunch..

baked fish with steamed broccoli..

recipe:
blend - onions | ginger | garlic | cili padi | tomato | cili giling (tak igt portions la hihi)
cod fish fillet (perap with lemon + salt + pepper)
broccoli
salt | black pepper
a lil margarine
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
stir fry all the blended ingredients.. if u're watching yr weight, tak yah pki byk minyak la k.. bila da naik minyak, angkat the fried paste and put in a bekas.
in a baking dish, sapu a lil oil on it, andd place yr fish yang dah di perap..
and then spread yr stir fried paste on yr fish and squeeze some lemon juice on it.
close the baking dish with an aluminum foil, dont forget to make holes kat foil tu..
and then bake for about 10 mins.. baking mmg slow.. if nk cepat, can always pan fry the fish.. but then, byk la frying kan.. if u dont mind, ok jer.. :)

as for the broccoli, place the broccoli in a casserole, put a lil bit of water in it (for steaming), close the casserole and place in the microwave. depending on the portion of yr broccoli, it should take about 2-3 mins to cook thoroughly.. u can always put it back into the microwave if the broccoli tak masak lg.. when the broccoli is cooked, toss the broccoli with margarine ckit.. and then dash in salt and pepper and toss some more. if u want, u can always add in cauliflower and carrots, mengikut selera masing2.. :)

since the broccoli cooks very fast, usually wat i'll do is kemas kitchen, basuh semua benda yg kena basuh, and when the fish tinggal lg like 5 mins to cook, baru start on the broccoli..

when the fish is already cooked, serve it on a plate with yr broccoli.. tu jer.. simple.. bon apetit! :)

~ simple salad ~

as many of you may knw, my wedding

is juz around d corner.. and i still have

like an inch or so to lose.. so i havent

been eating rice for so many days..

except for today, mkn, but very2 sikit..

there goes my puasa nasi haha..

anyways, to make up for eating rice for

lunch today, i ate salad tonite.. thing is kan,

usually ppl eat salad with dressings like

thousand island, tartar sauce, mayo, ada

lagi satu yg olive oil mixed with herbs tu..

so most of salad dressings are fattening!!

but d idea to eat salad is not to gain weight!

hehe.. ter-emo jap.. so i watched AFC

(asian food channel - 703 on astro) and i

got tis incredible tips.. cant remember show

apa, and chef mana, but he suggested to

use lime/lemon juice to substitute the

usual salad dressing..

so today, i tried mixing salad, carrots,

apple slices (mum's idea), sprinkle lime

juice and sprinkle black pepper.. mixed

it up and wallah.. a very2 nice n fresh salad..

the lime really brings up the taste of the

vege.. sedap.. try la.. :)

1) cuba pakaian pengantin - da siap da pun!

2) cuba make up pengantin - done!

3) ttpkan susun atur tempat duduk - lama da done.. :)
(jika majlis dibuat di hotel/dewan)

4) mula siapkan pelamin & bilik tidur - done!

5) sudah kemas brg utk bulan madu - err not yet.. hehe..

6) tetapkan pengapit - lama sgt da done!

7) sementara menanti hari bahagia dptkan

~ fatty bom bom ~

only ten days left and m still sooo fat..

i hate d way i look right now..

i'd love to juz not eat, did tat n now

m not feeling well.. my gastric kept

yelling at me asking me to eat.. i eat,

but very little.. not my usual consumption..

i havent eaten rice for almost a week,

eat very little for dinner & lunch, usually just

fruits or something soupy. but i havent seen

any improvement yet..

goshhhh.. m gonna look sooo ugly fugly

during my nikah.. i juz hope i wont faint

because of all these dieting, lack of nutritious, etc..

sigh, d pressure women put on themselves

huh.. esp when ppl close to me who makes

me feel more insecure of myself than i already

am.. no, not ajoy.. dont worry.. not him.. he

kept asking me to eat n kept telling me tat

i am not fat..

but, fact is, i do feel fat, tats the thing.. *crying*

~ lil fashion biz ~

m so excited.. and i juz cant hide it.. lalalala..

so my friends n i from jan's lil almari went to

shop for our stocks today.. and i bought 4 types

of dresses! and a few belts.. once i post the pics,

i'll update here and in my fb as well.. :)

i juz collected my baju & veil nikah td..

cantikkkkkk sgttttt... love it, love it, love it!

my beading comprise of pink & silver beads,

pink sequins and some pearls..

i sent it to haniem's boutique at pkns, shah alam..

and of course, i got to know the boutique from

my sister la kan.. hehe.. sape lagi.. :P so because

my sister sent her baju tunang there.. and also

beading for her reception veil & trail.. if m not

mistaken la.. and my mum n i sent our kebaya

for beading, also for my sis' reception..

so now it is my turn.. and i love it.. eh, da ckp eh..

~ rocks on platinums.. ~

we collected our wedding rings today!!!

wuhooo!! soooo happy... hehehehehe..

i called them yesterday to have our names

engraved on our rings..

~ on my ring : aina & ajoy

~ on his ring : ajoy & aina

so today at 3pm, we went and collect our

rings from diamond & platinum one utama..

ajoy was so excited, he didnt even wanna

take off his ring when he tried it on.. hehehe..

sabar k syg, 2 weeks more and u'll wear it

forever.. hihi..

mine & ajoy's.. ajoy's ring is quite berat coz it's full

platinum.. if m not mistaken about 9.9g.. hehe..

tis is mine (of course hehehe),

classic solitaire cut with 8 lil diamonds on

each side and two tiny diamonds on the

solitaire holder (the claw eh panggil dia?)..

d solitaire is held with 6 claws..

 

my diamond is from estrella d&p, hence got

certificate.. so next time leh trade in and

buy a bigger stone or even use the same

stone and convert it into necklace or something..

ermm size of the ring, colour n clarity tak yah

share la eh.. dangerous to reveal everything kan.. :)

~ paperbag project ~

today is raya haji.. every year, we will go to our

aunty's hse, mak non for raya haji.. and since my

wedding is very near, we decided to do our

paperbag project here..

my paperbags are striped.. and i think by now we

all knw how much i love polka dots kan.. so, i'd

like to put the ribbons i blogged about earlier on

my paperbags..

alhamdulillah because ramai2 buat, so cepat jugak

la habis.. all 150 bags.. susah jugak la nk buat.. well

actually bukan susah, but tedious jugak la..

first we have to cut the ribbons into d desired length

of course.. we had two colours, so one ribbon is

longer than d other.. and then we have to know how

to tie it with wires.. after that, put the shorter ribbon

on top of the longer ribbon and twist the wires together

so tat they become one.. then glue them onto the

paperbags.. and cut the excess wire.. tu jer.. sounds

simple tp takde la simple sgt.. thank god we have

mak bah to show us how to do them.. and all the

tools (glue gun, wire, etc) are from mak bah n mak non..

wedding favors.. dia yg email2 me about the

paperbags.. gmbr mak bah takde la pulak, sorry

mak bah.. hehe.. mak bah has kedai brg2 hantaran..

so i bought the paperbags from mak bah..

i sat next to my mum.. amik gmbr pun cepat2 coz

nk siapkan keje cepat2.. semua candid je..

 

tis pic was actually to capture ayang, my lil cousin kat

hujungggg tu.. she really wanted to help.. hehe.. so

cute.. so her job was to separate out the bags and

put the ribbons on top of each bags so tat it'll be

easy for mak cah to glue the ribbons to the bags.. tp

dia asyik gerak2 so last2 ni je gmbr yg dpt capture.. :)

~ ribbons ~

ribbons are used so widely in sooo many things..

presents.. hair accessories.. apparel accessories..

and also hantarans..

i juz love ribbons.. and nowadays there are tons

of types and designs of ribbons..

if you noticed, most hantarans would incorporate

ribbons in them.. esp to tie up shirts or sejadah or

telekung or stuff like tat.. so as for mine, since my

hantaran cake will be polka dots, i asked my

hantaran decorator if we could use polka dots

ribbons for my hantarans.. hehehe.. yeah, m a

polkie maniac.. :P

so she said of course.. and i volunteered to purchase

the ribbons myself because i wanna feel puas hati

when i see my hantaran.. at least kalau tak cantik, the

ribbons was my choice, my fault kan.. hehe..

and as for the wedding favors, my paperbags are

pink stripes.. the paperbags are supplied by my

aunty.. i wanted to incorporate polkies in them too..

so i bought ten rolls of ribbons juz for the favors..

bought them at kk homes, sacc, shah alam.. very
cheap.. rm3.90/roll for the 1cm width ones.. i

nearly fainted when i saw tat ALL their ribbons

are polkadots!!!! all in assorted colours.. oh myyyy..

hehehehehe.. and i quickly took the pink ones, coz

da tak byk da tinggal..

my aunty and cousin went to ssf, kk home nilai & ampang

tp da abis.. tats y i juz grabbed cepat2.. takut abis lg..

cant wait to see how my hantaran n favors will turn out!

hehehehe.. not so long now.. :)

~ and continues.. (homedec) ~

today we went to home decor haven ~ ikea!

but unfortunately, we didnt have that much time

because ajoy suddenly had to go for an urgent

meeting.. sighhh..

however within that short period of time, we

managed to scout around for things to buy in

the future (budget tgh simpan for more important

things aka nikah in case ada benda2 kecik yg

we overlooked), and also bought some things

too..

didnt buy much though.. only bought laundry bag,

drawer organizers, tmpt gantung my selendangs

(yg rings byk2 tu), wastepaper basket, coffee

table, and drinking glasses..

i juz love love love going to ikea.. even though

ntah da berapa kali ntah pergi ikea.. there are

always new offers or new things tat i have never

seen or may hv overlooked before.. actually, i

dont need any reason for loving to go there

so so so many times. juz love it.. :)

~ homedec day continues ~

after the guys from the furniture store left..

ajoy n i went busy cleaning up our room

and then pasang the bedsheet tat we

bought a few weeks back.. then we realised

alamak takde bantal la.. hihi..

so off we went to s.alam mall to buy some

pillows.. ajoy wanted to go to macy's.. he

insisted macy's still ada at s.alam mall while

i debated and said takde da, takde da..

and i was right.. hehe.. but to our delight,

as we were decending to go to home's

harmony (something like aussino, living quarters,

macy's, etc) we saw tat home's harmony

was having promotions juz outside their store..

and wat we saw was -50%.. wahhhhhhh..

apa lagi, we went straight there and bought

ourselves quite a few items! hehe.. we bought

4 pillows, 1 bolster, 2 bathroom mats, pillow

cases and 1 quilt set for our bedroom at my

mum's house.. and we only spent a lil over rm300..

murah la tu.. usually 1 quilt set je dah more than

rm300, or around tat range kan..

wat a day.. we accomplished sooo much for

our house.. :)

~ saturday is homedec day! ~

today is a very productive day for both us..

i cleaned up my room and recycled a lot

of stuff.. then we met our photographer and

discuss about the event flow of our nikah..

and then we went to senQ to pick up our

kitchen stove that my mum bought for our

house warming present.. so since we were

there, we checked out other stuff and ended

up purchasing water heater and a fridge! :)

and then when we were waiting for senQ to

do our billing (whc took them ages to do btw),

our furniture store called and told us they wanna

deliver our bedroom set! wowwww.. bestnya!

so the moment we were done with senQ, we

immediately went to our new home to wait

for our new furniture..

remember when i said we bought a cheap set?

hehehe.. mmg cheap la.. nmpk pun cheap..

hahaha.. tp takpe la, like i said before, to get

started is good enough.. baby steps kan.. :)

but m really happy with our bed though.. thing

is we picked the set out of a catalogue from tat

store.. they didnt have the model with them at

that mo because it is a new set.. so tats y m

really happy the bed turns out juz like the

catalogue.. yg lain tu cant complain la kan..

u pay tat price, u get tat kinda furniture la hehe..

ajoy n i are planning to get a new landed house

within 2-3 years.. tats y i kept telling him it is

okay to buy cheap furniture for this house since

we're not gonna be here for long anyways..

will post up pics when everything is in place..

~ letting go ~

i had a longggg talk with one of my close friends..

he has a girl problem.. m not here to talk bout

his problem of course.. but something he told me

made me blog tis..

he told me wat his gf told him 'if we're not meant

to be together, if somehow u marry someone else

or i ended up marrying someone else, i want u to

know tat i never want u out of my life. i cant live

without having u in my life. i will always contact u.'

now, tis may be very touching if we're in his shoes..

whc of course he is.. but, let's stop and think and

put ourselves in the girl he ended up marrying's shoes..

would we like it if our husband's exes keep on

calling him? esp when we know wat kinda history

they had? esp when we know they had been together

for an ample amount of time? would we like tat?

to girls like these, pls.. let go.. let go of your past..

and cherish yr present n future.. dont let yr past ruin

wat is in front of u.. yg da lepas tu biarla lepas kan.. :)

~ our future home ~

in the midst of preparing for my big day..

i'm also busy filling up our new home..

ajoy bought a small apartment even b4

we got together.. and he got the cf for his

house pun like a few months before we

became serious..

so, the house is totally empty.. and we're

excited to renovate and furnish our cute

lil house..

as for now, we only have sofa, carpet,

and dining table.. yups, loadssss to be done!

we need to renovate our kitchen.. and to tile

our balcony.. tis is a medium cost house, so

of course semuanyer nak kena buat la..

we also have to do the wiring for the lighting

because wat we have now is totally insufficient..

we're now waiting for our curtain blinds and

bedroom set.. beli bedroom set murah jer.. hehe..

seriously murah giler.. less than rm2k and we

get 1 bed with free mattress, 6-door cupboard

and a dressing table. for now baru nk start ni

kira ok la tu kan..

i also spotted a very nice tv cabinet from perabot

bahagia whc is quite cheap, only rm499 after

discount.. and also a book shelf whc i will turn it

into some sort of a divider between dining n living..

yg tu tak igt berapa.. rm299 kut..

i am blessed in the sense that ajoy and i have

the same taste.. what i like he likes, vice versa..

so it was quite a breeze to shop anything for the

house tat we'll be sharing with him..

only, ajoy really2 go for quality material and i pulak

jenis tak kisah sgt.. coz kalau nk quality hv to pay

with a quantity ~ of cash! haha.. nanti when we have

more rezeki i certainly dont have a problem to buy

better quality furniture.. of i pun suka yg have the

best quality.. but to me, for now nie kena tutup

sebelah mata jap la.. hihi.. and m lucky tat he can

compromise.. kalau it's up to him jgn harap la dpt

beli tat cheap bedroom set agaknyer.. hikhikhik..

~ shoesssssss! ~

another wedding stuff da siap.. yeay!!!

juz picked up my wedding shoes from

saidatulnisa boutique today..

i used the same shantung shocking pink

for my shoes.. plain.. no lace applicae..

only rm180 per pair.. and of course,

i love it.. :)

~ small biz ~

i have always liked online shopping since 2005 kut..

hv been purchasing from these sites too.. i cant

remember sape yg recommended my first online

shopping site.. but i know wat i bought la.. a butterfly

kimono top.. purple in colour kut..

since then, i've been shopping for clothes online..

to me it is sooo easy.. no need to walk from store

to store.. i mean, it is fun.. but those days, i didnt

really have the time to go shopping.. so i chose

online shopping instead.. plus, most of the baju are

quite cheap.. but of course, takde brand gempak2 la..

i like branded stuff.. but i also dont mind buying yg

takde brand gak.. as long as cantik apa salahnyer kan..

so because i LOVE shopping online soooo much..

i've been wanting to have my own online store.. only

i didnt know where to get the supplies.. well, i have

found it.. or rather, my friend jina brought me to tat

haven.. shopping haven!!

so, we're gonna start our itsy bitsy teenie weenie

internet biz sooooonnnnnn.. so tungguuuuuu.. ;)

~ trial make up ~

as mentioned in my prev entry,

today i ada trial make up.. tis

was suggested by my sis and

also of course pesona pengantin..

i love my make up! tak sbr nk make up for

real whc will only be in 24 days.. :)

~ of notes and melody ~

m now compiling songs to play

during my mini reception..

thing is kan, most of the songs

has nice loving title but when we

really listen to them, they're actually

sad songs..

n i realised tat songs i've been singing

to are mostly sad songs! hahaha!

for my nikah i am only compiling

malay songs.. so my malay songs

collection is soooo little tat i had to

ask from my friends.. and on top of

tat, like i said, the songs i have semua

sedey2.. apa la.. hahaha..

nape malay songs je eh.. because my

nikah concept is very traditional (except

for my nikah attire).. and because my

reception next year will be more english,

i guess having a malay theme for nikah

will balance things out somehow or rather..

hehehe..

~ 26 days before nikah ~

my previous entry was sebulan sebelum nikah kan..

so now i only hv 26 days to go..

let's recheck the list of things to do according to

tat wud be a very general list..

as for my own additions to tat list:

so far alhamdulillah everything is

hye all.. :)

i havent logged in for quite awhile..

so wat hv been going on eh..

but actually takde la lama sgt since

my last post right.. only a few days

off kut..

last monday (9th Nov) ajoy n i went to

look for our bedroom set.. we actually saw

tis advertisement in pesona pengantin..

good bargain coz they gave mattress for

free! hehehe..

we actually wanted to have a look at

one of the sets shown in the magazine..

but we bought a new one tat they have, whc

wasnt featured in the mag.. price was

very2 cheap! hehehe.. mmg la cheap,

bukan solid wood pun.. but to me, xpe

la, for a start kan.. nanti bila ada rezeki

lebih lagi we can change to a better one..

insyaAllah.. :)

after the bedroom quest, we went to my

tailor pulak for first time fitting.. gosh, i

absolutely fell in love with my baju!!!!

love love love the colour i chose.. no

regrets at all.. i was grinning from ear to

ear.. the baju needed some very minor

alterations.. but overall mmg cantik giler

cutting tailor nie..

tis is the first time m trying tis tailor.. my

family's tailor is not well, tat was y we

had to search for a new tailor.. wat we

look for is not only the price should be

extremely affordable, but her cutting and

workmanship has to suit our body cut

as well.. and i tell u, it is really2 hard for

us to find a good tailor tat suits us..

and now we have found her.. yeay!!

so on wednesday i went to collect my

baju..

thn i went to jalan tar with my mum n sis

last thursday (12th Nov) to look for

their material for my reception next year..

some might think eh awalnyer cari kain..

but because we need to send

it to tailor so kena la cari awal.. unless we

buy ready made of course la we can juz

buy like a month before the event..

after jalan tar, my mum n i went to pkns

to send my baju for beading to kak hanim..

she said my baju n veil can be ready by 30th..

cant wait to see it!!

from 13th - 15th nov ada pameran pengantin

at pwtc.. so yesterday (13th nov) my mum,

ajoy n i went to the pameran.. ok la.. bigger

than the one my mum n i went at alam sentral

(obviously! :P).. but participants mostly are

caterers, photographers and kad kawin.. not

much venue or wedding planners..

then we went to senQ to check out mummy's

house warming gift for our new house.. mum

bought us a stove from faber.. tq mummy!!

and today.. we had tonnes of stuff to do..

we went to see my hantaran decorator, nurul..

you can find her at nurul.. cam biasa la kan i nie,

cant wait to see how it turns out! hehehe.. :)

and then we went to pavilion to look for ajoy's

shoes.. dia ni cerewet sikit.. ada certain spec for

his shoes.. but alhamdulillah, we finally found d

one he likes.. and because skang kan tgh sale,

tu yg lg best shopping tu! and i bought him a tshirt

from polo for his birthday..

and then we went to collect my lappie for hantaran..

n m using it now sbb kena habiskan battery dia dulu..

i love my new lappie!!! :)
