::my bff's big day : part 2 : reception::

on 3rd jan, monday, my bff had her reception..

date: 03 01 2011

venue: concorde hotel, s.alam

attire: arma weddingcouture (yes, cutting sama hehe)

make up, hair & accessories: nurul shukor

pelamin: arjuna cipta

theme: black & white (even the guests were asked to come in black & white)

took photo b4 turun bwh.. cantik kan sha.. hehehe..

pelamin by arjuna.. this is where our table is, sbb dekat dgn pelamin n meja beradab for me to buat keje hehehe.. so view tak best sgt.. :P tp senang for me to go back n forth from the pelamin and the main table.. hehe..

::my bff's big day : part 1 : nikah::

salam..

in my last entry, i wrote about being my bff's MOH kan.. sbnrnya tgh agak malas nk update.. but, nnti lupa pulak kan.. ok let's start with her nikah first..

date: 01 01 2011 (popular date kan hehehe)

venue: villa may, sec 7, s.alam

attire: radzuan radziwill

make up, hair & accessories: kak zaiha (same with me)

hantaran: nurul nuwoo (same with me jugak hehe)

cantik kan????? she said she also chose pink for her nikah coz it's my fave color.. so sweet hehe..

saat2 dinikahkan.. hehe..

da selamat nikah da.. :)

during mkn2 time, i gave a short speech as MOH to her.. :)

merenjis time.. tambah tiara hehe..

the program was akad nikah ceremony, pastu mkn2 then got merenjis ceremony for her family members..

as for my part as MOH, baju was provided by my bff.. make up by kak zaiha jugak.. ;)

::being MoH::

tomorrow is my bff's big day.. as she was my maid of honor (MOH), i was hers as well.. ^_^ this is her when she was my MOH.. hehe..

to remind myself and for other's reading pleasure as well.. let us look at the duties of MOH shall we.. ;)

{pre-wedding}

help her with ALL preparation of the wedding as and when needed.. so when she asks for help, do it.. hehe.. so alhamdulillah, i have helped her in so many ways and help her make decisions for her wedding as well.. this goes from choosing venue, gifts, etc.. there are also a lot of things that she decided herself la.. hehe..

{wedding day}

~ ensure yr friend, the bride arrives to the ceremony on time..

~ assist her in getting into her dress.. be there during make up session coz she would need extra pair of hands as her hands are tied down during the make up session..

~ be the messenger for her if she wants to communicate with her family or the groom..

~ from time to time, visit the ceremony hall/reception hall just to make sure there are no problems/issues..

~ help make sure the bride has privacy, esp when she's getting ready and maybe she wud also need some quiet time b4 the ceremony..

~ help to hold her veil and/or train all the time!!

~ be her right-hand woman all the time!!

~ she might be very very nervous all the time, so be there for her and constantly calm her down..

~ hold her bouquet when needed..

~ make a toast/speech if she ask u too..

~ last but not least, provide moral support and be a great listener throughout the process since it is a very wonderful but also a stressful time for her. it is our job to keep her sane hehehe..

tats it.. i hope i have done a great deal helping thru the process as much as she has helped me and been there for me during my time..

i juz hope during the speech ceremony, i would not fumble! hahaha.. thinking about it pun da menggeletar da tgn coz da lama tak public speaking.. LOL!

::wedding review: 26th n 27th nov 2010: nana & yap:

byk benda nk citer tp tak tau mana nk start dulu.. let's start with a wedding review shall we? 26th and 27th nov was the date of ajoy's cousin's wedding.. i think i mentioned this in my last entry, ke my last 2 entries.. hehe tak igt.. 26th was her nikah, mlm tu mlm berinai, and then 27th tu was her reception.. buat kat umah.. kat seremban..

sbnrnyer i have never been to malam berinai before.. so this majlis is very new to me.. hehe.. baru tau apa itu mlm berinai.. best ek rupanyer.. teringat malam tu masa family members nk kenakan inai kat muka pengantin, n pengantin nk balas balik.. kelakar.. hehe.. my job was to pass tissue kat pengapit mlm tu.. pakai tissue byk giler kan sbb nk lap inai tu.. nvrtheless it was really fun..

esoknya, our family members semua pki grey.. kain sponsored by ajoy's family member.. tailoring sponsored by me myself and i. haha.. pengantin pulak pki purple songket.. ni la gmbr pengantin..

ni pulak gmbr pengantin lama.. hehehe.. saje.. semua pengantin lama bgambar kat pelamin hihi..

*hehe lupa nk bukak sunnies.. terik bonar hari tu! :P

ni pulak gmbr some of us.. tak jumpa pulak gmbr kitaorg ramai2..

tu je la for now.. next family event will be on 25th dec pulak.. theme colour is green. ajoy's family mmg bertema2 ni.. :)

::the hantaran entry in pengantin mag::

i mentioned in my last post to post the photos of my hantaran featured in pengantin magazine.. and here it is! cantek tak... ;)

done by my friend, nurul.. her hantarans are extremely affordable.. this i knw after many friends asked how much nurul charge for hantaran and they all said "sgt2 murah!!".. she did for my sis's nikah, my bff's engagement and will be doing for my bff's wedding too and a few friends.. and i only had her in my mind for my hantaran hehehe.. tak cari langsung org lain.. tats how good she is to me.. ;)

done by his cousin, shuhada.. like nurul, she does hantaran as part time jugak.. but if u see d work from both of them, it is juz as good or better as those professionals buat.. and since shu pun buat part time, her pricing pun sgt2 affordable jugak.. so if u wanna engage her, email me and i'll give u her details k.. :)

salam y'all.. sorry la senyap pulak akhir2 ni.. byk benda nk citer sbnrnyer.. tp sbb byk sgt resipi nk kena masukkan so blog ni terabai kejap.. hehehe tak tido, terlena jap jer.. ok ok hapdet skrg!

alhamdulillah semua resipi2 dr collection kami (mum, sis and me) da pun masuk dlm blog resipi aina.. so kalau tgh buntu2 tak tau nk masak apa, layari lah blog ini: AINA'S COLLECTION OF MALAYSIAN RECIPE.. takde la gempak2 resipinyer, mostly simple jer tau, ckp awal2 ni.. cuma aina harap dpt membantu sesiapa yg kebuntuan hehe.. setakat ni ada 75 resipi, and as time goes on, m sure more and more recipes will be included in the blog.. if sape2 nk share recipe, pls do not hesitate to email me k.. yr input is highly appreciated.. ^_^ sharing kan is caring.. hehe..

oh ya, pd yg berkesempatan, beli la majalah pengantin bulan september.. kalau tak nak beli, flip thru la mag tu ya.. insyaAllah by sunday ni aina masukkan gmbr.. tak sompek nk amik gmbr, mag tu pun dlm keta sbb nnti sedara mara mesti nk tgk.. apa yg ada dlm tu yg menarik sgt nk kena beli, nk kena spend rm10 semata2?? hehehe.. takde la menarik pun.. tuk aina menarik la.. alhamdulillah gmbr barang2 hantaran aina & ajoy ada dlm tu.. dpt 1.5 page setiap sorang lg.. tq Kak Roff (editor majalah pengantin)!!!! insyaAllah kalau ikut kata k.roff, bulan oct pulak, gmbr wedding kitaorg pulak yg masuk.. wah wah, smpi 2 bulan ya?? tak tau la jadi masuk ke tak yg oct tu.. tp kalau jd, aina hapdet la lagi ok? *wink*
