~ nama baby ~

hi all.. lama gak tak blogging ek.. hihihi.. d other day masa bukak internet, yahoo (my homepage) ada kuar citer psl emma is no longer #1 baby girl's name.. so lps baca tat article, i browse pulak nama for muslim baby girls coz for baby boy ajoy & i pretty much agreed to a few names already.. tp for baby girls ntah, mcm tak puas hati lg with the ones we've listed down..

ajoy & i nk nama yg ada makna dlm Islam.. i dont think i have to explain why kan.. but that is our no. 1 criteria.. lain pd tu, is pretty much up to me.. i have other criteria for our future children's names other than kena ada makna... 

no. 1, that name has to last his/her lifetime.. maknanya shouldnt be just cute utk dia masa dia baby smpi budak2, tp when he/she da besar, da keje, da jadi parent pun nama tu relevant lg.. bila kita letak encik, or puan kat dpn nama dia, it still sounds nice and not weird or funny..

no. 2, the name is not funny and cannot be made fun of.. mcm my name, mcm2 nama my old peers came up with to make fun of.. tak best ok.. hehehe.. so if possible mesti la kita xnk anak kita punyer nama kena ejek right..

no. 3, easy to pronounce.. xnk nama pelik2 or spelling yg fancy2, n susah for other ppl to pronounce it.. esp for teachers, doctors, nurses, bank tellers, or sape2 je la yg kena pronounce nama diaorg to call them up.. 

no. 4, it should be nice and gels well when paired up with ajoy's name.. meaning bila letak 'bin azrul' or 'binti azrul' it still sounds great.. 

lupa nk masuk kan tis criteria.. no. 5, we dont want such a long name, kesian tgk bila budak2 yg nama panjang2 ni tulis nama diaorg on books or forms.. terkial2 sbb panjang sgt.. hihihi..

hehehe.. am i too picky?? 

and then some names yg i personally like, my friends da pakai for their daughters pulak.. but these friends mmg da lama tak jumpa, or jarang sgt jumpa.. but they are in my fb la.. tak pe ke if nama anak lebih kurang ek.. after browsing thru soooo many baby names, i still have no idea wat to name my baby girl! hehehehe.. pdhal pregnant pun belum kan.. hahaha..

~ saman mbsa ~

i have 5 samans from mbsa sbb xbyr parking yg 40 cents tu.. nape xbyr ek.. coz malas nk cari d machine.. and then jalan balik to my car.. bottom line >> m.a.l.a.s...... hihihi pdn muka dpt saman kan.. and then masa dpt surat biasa tu malas pulak nk g mbsa to pay.. bcoz leceh giler la nk byr d saman.. and now, i got myself a nice pink letter from them telling me tat if i dont pay rm500 by 7th may 2010 (ye, smlm ye.. hihihi..) i will be blacklisted (ccris).. so i was alamakkkkk.. xbyr parking pun bole smpi blacklisted ke.. over nya mbsa nih.. relax lar.. hahahahhahah!

thing is, mbsa ni sgt tak mesra pelanggan tau, parking leceh.. usually i'll park at the library, so everytime nk byr, parking at the library tu penuh.. i didnt even go down to their basement parking coz takut sesat.. hihihi... nk byr kat yg drive thru tu pulak d line is always long and very extremely slow service.. so da bosan, blah la apa lg.. pastu lupa.. bleh terima ke alasan tu.. hehehe.. if only we can pay online mcm we pay other bills tu mesti da lama da byr (ye ke :P)..

so yesterday, ajoy & i went to mbsa after friday prayers.. and we saw byknyaaaaa keta tepi jalan.. and when we reached d kaunter pembayaran, ramainyaaaaaa org! hehehe ni mesti ramai sama tak byr saman ni.. kikikiki.. we went to get our no giliran.. no semasa is 3739 camtu.. and our no is 3786 lebih kurang.. bottomline, byknya no nk kena tunggu!!!!! about 50 ppl b4 us.. giler la.. 

and to our delight, we saw a sign whc reads "pembayaran kompaun telah dilanjutkan sehingga 30 june 2010" or something like tat.. i asked d kakak yg bg no giliran tu "kak, sy punya due hari ni pun bole extend smpi 30 june ya?" and she said "yup, semua kompaun extend dik.." to whc i replied "ok kak, sy dtg hari lain la ya, ramai sgt la hari ni" with a smile and handed her no back.. mana la tau ada org sanggup tunggu ke kan.. ;)

wat i wanna say here is, mbsa have to find ways to create more methods for us to pay their compounds.. we're now in the IT era, where everything is online.. ni asal nk byr nk kena pegi mbsa.. leceh lar.. or, change d parking system la.. dulu2 ada card yg kita bleh beli in advance for one mth kut, pastu kita tebuk d time & date masa parking tu.. tat one's a good idea.. tak yah nk jln patah2 balik from car to machine to car.. well, juz a 2 cent from org yg malas nk byr parking & saman.. hahahahha!

i was watching 'how to lose a guy in 10 days' with ajoy tis mrng (4am, a ah x tido lg hehe) starring kate hudson.. i love kate.. dia sgt cantik n cute n sweet all in one..

while watching d movie, i told ajoy 'bagus la kate hudson ni kan.. takde pun nk buat plastic surgery mcm org lain' but apparently, i da ketinggalan zaman ek???? rupanya she juz did it recently.. alahai.. i hv always admired tat for years and years she never did anything.. but now, hmm.. but she does look so much better though.. 

i say tat to ajoy bcoz like kate, i too have always been insecure in that area.. i've also always thought of having it 'altered'.. hehehe.. but it's haram kan.. so juz hoping n wishing je la kan.. but i nvr wanted to make mine ridiculously huge like most celebrities.. nk enhance je kut..

most celebrities blows em up so huge smpi jd buruk pun ada gak.. some nmpk mcm tak kena da with their bodies.. 

~ creamy mashed potato

today, alhamdulillah m quite well.. so rajin ckit nk main masak2.. lunch td masak spaghetti goreng.. mcm mi goreng but instead of mee kuning, i used my favourite angel hair spaghetti.. and for dinner, a simple but very fattening mashed potato is my pick for tonite.. well actually potato ni da lama gak.. bought it bout 3 weeks ago kut.. but still very good.. and then tinggal 1 je plak tu.. so since ajoy takde, bole la masak for myself.. :)

tis recipe is for 1 potato jer.. so if u wanna do more, gandakan la bhn2 tu sdri k.. :) sbnrnya i think d recipe sama je kut mana2.. but since tgh rajin nk menaip, here goes.. 

u'd need:

1 potato

2 tbsp milk

2 tbsp butter/margarine

black pepper

oregano

salt

cara2 dia of course first u gotta boil yr potato(es).. better kalau kita potong kecik2, cepat ckit masak.. in another bowl, combine all the ingredients above.. as for butter or margarine, it would be wise to take them out while u're preparing yr potato(es) (peel, wash & cut) so tat bila kita nk pki da lembut da.. and then bila potato da masak, mash em in the bowl with all the ingredients and gaul hingga rata.. tu jer.. hihihi.. senang giler.. :)

~ pharmacy incident hehehe...

i'm sure many of u know i tak sihat for more than 2 weeks now.. but then takde la tiap2 hari sakit.. i think ada la bout 1 or 2 days jer yg betul2 ok hehehe.. so i've been having on/off fever.. nausea.. diarrhea.. athsma.. gastric.. migraine.. isy mcm2 sakit.. 

and becoz of ths, many friends hv bn asking me to go for a checkup at clinic.. bukan xnk g clinic, its juz tat if today demam, esok da baik demam, but maybe i'd have athsma.. kalau athsma mmg i tak suka nk g clinic coz nnti doc bg steroids.. me no like. kalau gastric, doc bg ubat air putih tu. ewwww yucksssss... well bottom line, i hate clinics, i hate medicines. well actually i tak reti sgt nk telan ubat hehehe.. and i absolutely cannot telan ubat air.. eee d thought of it pun rasa cam nk muntah.. hahahah! and actually, ramai thought i might be pregnant sbb asyik sakit jer..

eh byk lak rambling.. back to my story.. tis week pulak, last tuesday diarrhea, monday tak igt pulak sakit apa.. and yesterday, i went to the gym.. yesterday was aero latino.. medium impact.. mmg tak teruk sgt mcm aero masala.. so i thought i should go coz dah lama sgt tak g gym, takut gemuk balik.. unfortunately, after 45mins i started feeling queasy and had a visit with mr toiletbowl.. and i think after 5 mins i tried joining d aerobics again, igtkan da ok la.. however, my tummy didnt cooperate, had to go to the toilet again.. :(

when i got out of the toilet, one of my gym friends KH said maybe i should go and check if m pregnant coz she knew i wasnt well for 2 weeks.. she also knew the same thing happened last 2 weeks at the gym.. and then d gym owner KW pun said d same thing.. and then i was like, biar betul.. takkan pregnant kut..

coz its like almost a week b4 my next period.. meaning, period pun belum lmbt lg.. i juz felt maybe it was just angin jer.. coz all i ate yesterday was pizza masa lunch time, pastu takde mkn apa2 da except for milo bout an hour before aerobics class at 745pm.. 

but then i fikir takpe la.. since da more than 5 person asked me to check, plus ajoy pun asyik ckp 'syg pregnant kut' sambil gosok2 my perut, so i figured beli je la pregnancy kit kan.. 

dekat2 d gym mmg ada pharmacy.. not like guardian or watson, tp pharmacy biasa jer.. and usually pharmacy canie d owner yg jaga.. so tis pharmacy, a lady about 40-ish yg ada kat kedai tu.. when i entered, she was attending to a customer, so i cari je la sendiri.. they had 2 types of pregnancy test kit ~ 1 costs rm8, and another 1 costs rm16.. i dont know whc one is better.. when tat lady was done with her prev customer, she came to me.. and bcoz i was holding a kit, she looked at me atas bawah muka mcm pelik jer.. 

hehehehe.. i know why.. unfortunately, when i'm in my exercise gear with my sport shoes, i dont look my age, in fact, budak2 uitm pun igt m a student as well.. so i dont blame d lady for looking at me like tat.. but i fikir, well m not doing anything wrong.. m married and i need this. blasah je la, tanya je la kan. hehehe.. mula2 mmg dia mcm nk xnk je lyn coz muka dia nmpk sgt mcm 'xnk aku terlibat jual pregnancy kit kat budak uitm' hahahahahah! tp lama2 agaknya d way i speak ke apa, she relaxed and answered all my questions.. she advised me when to do it, and what to expect and all.. smpi hari ni i rasa mcm kelakar sgt in the pharmacy tu.. muka tat lady priceless.. i told ajoy, d next time if i wanna buy a kit, i better make sure i dress up ckit.. but definitely not in my sweats.. hehehehehe.. 

so, i bought it, but i can only use it next week. but i strongly believe m juz unwell. not pregnant.. hihi.. :)

~i have short attention span disorder~

yes, i have short attention span disorder.. sometimes known as attention deficit disorder or ADD.. i also have a lil compulsive obsessive disorder.. tp tak la teruk mcm monk tu.. hehehehe.. 

anyway, i have known tis part of me ever since i was in high school. it may hv been apart of me from very young, but i only realised it later masa high school.. i discovered that i am easily distracted and very3 easily bored. especially in classes.. so during classes i often found myself doodling this and that while listening to the teachers. tat was my way of keeping my attention with the classes.. i havent perfected that skill until i went to uitm, tat was why Alhamdulillah i got good results..

i have tis very bad habit of tuning out. i tune out at everything. even movies. even when ajoy tells me stories sometimes. even while reading long articles. i dont and cant select my tuning out subjects. it will just happen. and have been since i was very young. this disorder was also why i get easily bored with relationships. i just get bored easily. 

allow me to list down all the signs and symptoms of this disorder.. these are some of those i've extracted that mirrors me quite perfectly :

~        Short attention span, UNLESS very interested in something

~        EASILY distracted, tendency to drift away

~        Trouble listening carefully to directions

~        Skips around while reading

>> i love reading novels, but most of the time i'd juz skip from one chapter to another and then go back to the 1st chapter and read again.. unless the book is extremely interesting

~        Tendency to be easily bored (TUNES OUT)

~        Trouble sitting still for too long 

>> i cant even sleep in 1 position, tgh tgk tv pun mesti nk kena buat something else as well e.g play game, play with hp, munch on tidbits or worse kopek2 muka sdri

~        Restlessness, fidgetiness, legs moving, constantly in motion

>> usually my legs yg fidgeting.. alhamdulillah my fidgeting isnt tat bad now.. skang tgh type pun 1 of my legs tgh swaying mcm tgh dgr music.. i guess she's already tuning out hahahaha..

~        Impulsive in words and/or actions

~        Tactless in speech

~        Impatient, low frustration tolerance

~        Poor financial management

~        Mood swings & negativity

~        Tendency to be immature, self-centred & immature interests

~        Tendency to be verbally abusive to others

~        Proneness to hysterical outburst ; short fuse
