::being MoH::

tomorrow is my bff's big day.. as she was my maid of honor (MOH), i was hers as well.. ^_^  this is her when she was my MOH.. hehe..

to remind myself and for other's reading pleasure as well.. let us look at the duties of MOH shall we.. ;)

{pre-wedding}

help her with ALL preparation of the wedding as and when needed.. so when she asks for help, do it.. hehe.. so alhamdulillah, i have helped her in so many ways and help her make decisions for her wedding as well.. this goes from choosing venue, gifts, etc.. there are also a lot of things that she decided herself la.. hehe.. 

{wedding day}

~ ensure yr friend, the bride arrives to the ceremony on time..

~ assist her in getting into her dress.. be there during make up session coz she would need extra pair of hands as her hands are tied down during the make up session.. 

~ be the messenger for her if she wants to communicate with her family or the groom..

~ from time to time, visit the ceremony hall/reception hall just to make sure there are no problems/issues.. 

~ help make sure the bride has privacy, esp when she's getting ready and maybe she wud also need some quiet time b4 the ceremony.. 

~ help to hold her veil and/or train all the time!!

~ be her right-hand woman all the time!! 

~ she might be very very nervous all the time, so be there for her and constantly calm her down.. 

~ hold her bouquet when needed..

~ make a toast/speech if she ask u too.. 

~ last but not least, provide moral support and be a great listener throughout the process since it is a very wonderful but also a stressful time for her. it is our job to keep her sane hehehe..

tats it.. i hope i have done a great deal helping thru the process as much as she has helped me and been there for me during my time.. 

i juz hope during the speech ceremony, i would not fumble! hahaha.. thinking about it pun da menggeletar da tgn coz da lama tak public speaking.. LOL! 

::end of 2010::

today is the last day of 2010.. 

i'd say we had an eventful year.. mind blasting.. mind blogging if i may say in some situations.. sweet moments.. some bitter moments.. laughs.. cries.. so many stuff happened within those 12 months.. started the year as a newly wed.. ended this year alhamdulillah being happily married, had great time being ajoy's wife and thankful having him as my husband.. 

but all in all, it was a good year.. cant wait to see what 2011 has in store for us.. hope we can accomplish a lot more next year.. maybe also, a junior version of us? *praying* *wink* insyaAllah.. pls pray for us.. ^_^

this is to say goodbye 2010, and hello 2011.. 

so to everyone.. hope y'all had a great 2010.. happy new year!!

sejuk kan lately ni.. today i think dr pagi hujan.. it was so freaking cold, that my nose was running here and there.. sgt tak suka runny nose!! and at home, tak pyh bukak kipas pun sejuk yg amat sgt ni.. hehe.. 

::hair salon for hijabis::

question to ladies out there, esp to hijabis: dont u wish there's a hair salon tats only for hijabi ladies? or at least a ladies-only salon? not to discriminate those who does not wear hijabs.. but it is because u ladies dont face probs like us hijabis.. korang nk g salon mana2 pun bole.. hehe i know coz i was one of u kan..

now tat i wear hijab.. i know there are some salons kat s.alam tat has area for tutup aurat.. sometimes those yg tak pki hijab pun masuk area tu, bcoz they said it is more comfortable without men left and right yg tgh buat rambut jugak.. but outside s.alam sgt susah nk cari.. esp in shopping complexes.. i.e one utama hehe.. sbb i keje sblh 1 utama kan.. haha..

i wish there is a salon whereby from outside, nobody can see who's inside, hence making the salon private and more comfortable for us.. so once masuk we can freely go from one station to another without our hijabs.. kalau normal salons, kdg2 for washing station to drying/cutting station kena lalu open space, so org2 laki kat situ bole nmpk la kan.. defeat the purpose already lor..

ahhh if only i have the money, i'll def have one of these salons.. pastu hair stylist, shampoo girls semua real females.. u knw wat i mean kan.. sometimes nmpk cam female rupanyer shemale ekekekek.. so for those of u out there who has money to spare, bukak la salon canie.. ^_^

p/s: if there really is salon canie dah, pls lemme knw where!! tq!!

::on pants, panties and VPL::

salam..

i've been wanting to write about this for so long but have been put off so many times coz i was occupied with so many things and also asyik terlupa aje..

so what about pants, panties and VPL? topic ni maybe sensitive to some ppl.. but i think this is quite important to be talked about, esp for us ladies yg pki baju atas our bum (bontot dlm bahasa kasornyer..haha) so kalau tak suka baca, tak pyh baca ok.. jgn da baca nnti nk terasa2 pulak, tak kuasa aku nk layan hehehe.. ooopss terlaser pulak.. :P

whether we realise it or not, or particular or not, most pants we wear will show our panty lines.. hence the term 'visible panty lines' or VPL were created.. if we look at most celebrities and talk shows, well even oprah says no-no to VPL.. why.. bcoz it is very very unflattering.. tats y.. esp when our butt is not firm, and the panty we chose is a lil tight, that will definitely and automatically create 4 butts!! sgt2 buruk ok.. pastu bila jalan, the butt cheeks not covered by the panty tu jiggly2 sana, jiggly2 sini mcm jello.. urrrghhhhhh BURUK capital letters besar giler!!!!

this is wat i wanna talk about.. tgk gmbr ni, before n after.. before ada VPL.. after sudah hilang VPL.. dont u think the one without looks much2 better?? i personally havent been a fan of VPL sejak... emmm.. year 2004 kut.. so pki apa ek.. nk share la ni.. *wink*

 

ok first off, the material of our pants.. remember i talked about looking for working pants tu? i mentioned tak suka kain lembik2 nipis2 kan? this is one of the reasons why jugak.. sgt2 senang nmpk VPL.. so NO No NO No0o0o la kan.. kalau bole material kena la tebal ckit.. so if we wear panties tu takde la obvious sgt VPL tu.. wpun tak brp cantik, but at least tak nmpk sgt.. 4 butts pun tak obvious sgt.. and most importantly, jello butt pun tak brp obvious hehehe.. kalau jeans or pants with pockets at the back tu selamat ckit.. ;) but ada tapi jugak kat sini.. nnti citer..

and then.. ni yg important ni.. type of panties! i know some dowan or cannot follow me bcoz of comfort issues.. but there are other alternatives.. i wear thongs.. bukan selipar tu tau.. u knw wat i mean.. hehe.. but for those yg cannot wear, or dowan to wear, there are other types we can choose from for example boyshorts, or those panties yg seamless..

this is how a seamless panty looks like.. ada byk types yg seamless ni - thong, boyshorts, briefs, bikini, etc.. semua ada.. beli jer.. ;) caner rupa boyshorts, thongs semua tu bole google sdri jer k.. :)

pastu, the size of yr panties pun penting jugak.. kalau pki thong or boyshorts or seamless panties pun tp kalau ketat giler (patut pki L tp pki S) takde maknanyer! ttp nmpk jugak! hehehe emo ckit.. ramai org pki salah size.. itu yg terbonjol sana.. terbonjol sini.. masyaAllah cantik ke camtu ladies wei.. hehehe.. tak cantik ok..aina tlg jwbkan.. :P so pls cari size yg sesuai dgn kita walaupun kita teringin nk pki size kecik2.. yg tu pki kat umah jer bole hahaha..

ok.. tu je la.. so sama2 la kita kurangkan VPL kita.. kan bagus bila kita dpt kurangkan mata laki tgk panty line kita yg sgt2 ketara kita pki panty jenis apa tu.. hahahaha.. happy trying! ;)

::egyptian-style hijab::

chewah rajin pulak nak berblogging hari ni ek.. haha.. i wanna talk about hijabs today.. or us malay calls it tudung! hehe.. so this entry will have loadsssss of pics of me.. which i think sejak start this blog, i sgt2 JARANG letak pic of me kan.. hehehe.. so jgn tkezut la ya.. :P

for some of u who do not know this, i seriously decided to wear hijab for good on 29th december 2008, it was maal hijrah tat year.. 

my style tat time was wearing gorgette shawl.. mcm ni:

tp after around 10 mths of wearing this style.. and getting tired of managing n taming the shawl (asyik longgar2, kena betulkan, etc), i decided to try changing to syria.. masa tu syria scarf lum popular lagi.. and yg ada jual was only those yr rm10 cotton corak2 tu.. lycra pun murah time tu.. rm12 plg mahal pun.. yg kelakarnya, bila pki tudung tu ramai sgt ladies yg pusing tgk i 2 kali, tgk tudung sbb masa tu syria mmg sgt2 baru kuar..

ni la jenis2 syria masa mula2 smpi msia tu.. my 1st syria lycra.. hehehe..

style syria ni lama jugak aina pki.. smpi skrg actually.. these are some of the variations of syria i've been wearing.. tolong ignore muka yg makin lama makin bulat itu ya hahaha.. ^_^

ni la syria jenis cotton yg mula2 kuar dulu hehehe.. murah giler.. :P

yg ni pulak jenis kain mcm net.. very breezy.. 

and then i found plain cotton syria! yeayyyyy!!! so for now m in love with them.. 

 

tp.. lately ni.. i stumbled across this turkish-cuban girl who wears her hijab the egyptian-style.. and i l-o-v-e it!!! so ni baru berjinak2 la.. i like this style bcoz it is different.. i like to be a lil different but not too different to the point of weirdness la.. hahaha.. tp a lil diff is ok.. it makes the style.. ermm.. me.. ^_^ check it out:

::wedding review: 26th n 27th nov 2010: nana & yap:

byk benda nk citer tp tak tau mana nk start dulu.. let's start with a wedding review shall we? 26th and 27th nov was the date of ajoy's cousin's wedding.. i think i mentioned this in my last entry, ke my last 2 entries.. hehe tak igt.. 26th was her nikah, mlm tu mlm berinai, and then 27th tu was her reception.. buat kat umah.. kat seremban.. 

sbnrnyer i have never been to malam berinai before.. so this majlis is very new to me.. hehe.. baru tau apa itu mlm berinai.. best ek rupanyer.. teringat malam tu masa family members nk kenakan inai kat muka pengantin, n pengantin nk balas balik.. kelakar.. hehe.. my job was to pass tissue kat pengapit mlm tu.. pakai tissue byk giler kan sbb nk lap inai tu.. nvrtheless it was really fun.. 

esoknya, our family members semua pki grey.. kain sponsored by ajoy's family member.. tailoring sponsored by me myself and i. haha.. pengantin pulak pki purple songket.. ni la gmbr pengantin..

hunting for working pants

salam everyone! 

recently i went searching for more working pants because yg lama da tak muat! hehehe.. i bought 1 a couple of months back from g2000 and thought of buying the exact same one hari tu.. thing about me is i dont mind having 2 or even 3 pairs of the exact same pants, or exact same design of shoes but different2 colours if they are really comfortable, worth it and of course la cantik kan.. hehehe.. same goes to this particular pair of pants i bought dulu.. sgt comfortable, i love d material, d colour, and d cutting as well..

unfortunately hari tu pegi takde pulak d exact same pants.. they've changed their collection da.. bummer.. hate it when tat happens, coz it means i have to go for working pants hunt! masa tu malas nk pegi cari suar, bukak jeans, try on the suar, and repeat the cycle 10 kali haha.. i dont know if this is normal for ladies hehehe but as for me, m d type yg if i already knw wat i want, where to get it, i can just go there and get them without even trying them.. if baju n shoes i dont mind d hunt, d search.. tp suar sgt malas hehe..

*iklan: ni pun cantik but my legs cam kaki lombu, tak sesuai! hahaha!

so nk tak nak tpaksa la cari suar.. yg geramnya most of the materials jenis lembut2, which i dont like coz it tends to hug our 'curves' whc i totally hate! hehehe.. i prefer cotton material whc makes d pants mcm stand on its own.. tak reti nk explain.. pastu i went to a boutique called the executive.. they have very nice pants, and affordable too! tp malangnya... low waist la pulak!!! sgt tak best coz i tried to squat and ooopsss my butt crack was exposed! oh tidak.. sungguh tak suka! so this pants kalau tpaksa beli pun kena pki dgn baju panjang la.. tp mcm tak best la kan.. 

so after so many stores.. i finally found yg bole la diterima whc i bought from soda.. bole la.. hehehe.. beli 1 pair jer coz yg lain cam tak puas hati kan.. :P

it's already december..

salam readers.. (cheh, ada ke reader? haha)

it has been a month since i blogged an entry.. and the last time i wrote was about exercising kan.. a month has passed tp takde la da turun byk pun hihihi.. but, i can say tat d pants i bought masa tgh gumuk tu sudah longgar la, and i can now button my jeans dgn sgt senang (da tak pyh nk tahan nafas giler2 pastu baru bole button). tat being said, m still a long way to go to wat i deem as my ideal figure n weight. suar lama bole pki tp ketat yg amat.. jeans even tho da bole button but still ketat masyaAllah.. hahaha.. my problematic areas will ALWAYS be my buttocks n thighs.. grrrrr... sgt geram!

but considering i am not taking any supplements and merely controlling my food bole la tu.. confirm slow punyer turun but bole la.. unfortunately i do not have the luxury of going to the gym everyday anymore, nor can i take a walk at the lake in the afternoon coz smpi umah confirm da gelap.. wat i try to do however is whenever i need to go to our office upstairs (1 level up jer), i will ensure i take d stairs up and down.. so if i have to go 10 times, thn 10 times la naik turun.. hehe.. tu je la my exercise hihihi..

i need to loose a lot more inches and kgs before 1st jan! sempat ke.. caner lg nk turunkan cepat ek.. tolonggggg... hahahaha..
