~ ten for ten weddings : part 1 : ayie & asma ~

ten for ten (10 apr '10) ~ yesterday, ajoy and i attended 2 weddings.. the 1st one is ajoy's friend, ayie panjang whc was held at dewan c, sec 6 s.alam.. yg ni majlis bertandang so simple je la kan.. so mcm biasa majlis kul 12 tgh - 4 pm.. i think ajoy n i smpi pun around 3pm kut.. nape lambat eh.. 

well no 1, byk sgt benda nk kena kemas kat umah.. pastu nk kena gosok baju kitaorg lg kan.. smlm i tido kul 630am, lepas subuh.. tak bole tido tak tau nape.. so since tak leh tido mmg mcm2 benda la buat, termasuk la gosok baju.. yes, i gosok baju kul 4am ya.. mcm org giler pun ada rasa masa tu.. hihi.. then actually nk gosok baju melayu ajoy skali, tp masa nk gosok tu perasan mcm kotor pulak baju dia.. pdhal baru je amik from the laundrette.. suar dia pun sama.. mcm ada kesan softlan ke apa ntah.. so i had to soak ajoy's baju melayu dulu.. in d end, lps buat a few things, at 630am tu paksa diri gak tuk tido..

woke up early, at 930am.. early la tu kan considering i slept at 630am hihihi.. couldnt sleep coz i knw i have loads of things more to do, esp sidai baju melayu ajoy.. kang tak kering kang caner, da pening kepala balik nk pikir nk pakai apa.. and then, actually since friday ajoy ada meeting outstation, so smlm dlm kul 12 tgh baru smpi rumah.. both of us havent had much sleep lately so ajoy tido dulu.. sambil2 tu, i sebok la buat itu ini including gosok baju ajoy yg tak jadi nk gosok awal pg td tu.. 

however, masa nk bersiap tu agak haru gak la.. da la cam rushing2.. pastu masa pakai my baju kurung chinese silk tu, nmpk mcm bhgn depan still crumpled lg.. so i took it off sbb nk gosok balik la kan.. but then, i forgot sblm tu i ironed selendang yg susah giler nk hilangkan kedut so kena upkan temperature.. and then i forgot to turn it back down.. so masa nk gosok tu kan, baru je letak d iron on the baju terus ada bau lain n bunyi apa ntah, tak smpi 2 secs terus angkat d iron.. ALAMAKKKKKK lobaaaannnngggggg!!!!!! uwaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! 

terus i jerit 'MasyaAllahhhhhhh!!!!'.. and then ajoy terus lari masuk bilik iron tu.. dia igtkan something really bad happened.. rupanyer baju sudah lobang daaa... hahahahhahah!! adehhhhh tension nyer.. da kena pikir nk pki baju apa balik.. thing is about me, kalau g weddings or beraya kan, mesti wajib nk kena matching dgn ajoy.. time2 lain tak suka pulak nk matching.. tp kalau g wedding wajib.. sbb ntah la tak suka sgt la tgk couples yg tak matching dtg wedding.. sorry kalau ada yg terasa, maybe kita lain pdpt jer.. :)

ajoy mmg da ckp dia nk pki baju yg mana.. i only have one baju kurung about the same colour tp baju ni teramat2 la lama.. i think baju kurung masa study kat uitm kut.. tak igt masa dip or deg.. tp lama la tu kannnnn... da berbulu2 da baju tu kalau tgk betul2.. hihihihi..

~ tiara ~

i love wedding tiaras.. to me choosing the right tiara for yr wedding is like choosing the right pair of necklace or earring, whc means it is an important accessories.. i have seen brides who wears tiara yg tak kena dgn her wedding gown or attire.. so mcm syg la kan.. some ppl pulak d tiara is too huge for her.. some kecik sgt smpi nmpk mcm too simple.. cheh, pandai je ckp ek.. so i hope i chose d right tiara for my wedding.. hihihi..

i browsed pics of tiara da lama da tp tak sempat2 nk post it up.. so here are some of the tiaras that i like.. one of them even looked similar to the one i wore for my majlis bertandang.. :)

~ entertainment ~

i nk citer skit about the ppl we hired to entertain our guests during our wedding at prince.. i knw tis guy L from a friend of mine who is also from badan kesenian tentera darat (BKTD).. tis guy is married to one of the artists.. so they performed for us under their own group la.. we didnt go through the red tapes to hire them hehehe.. leceh ar..

i think about a month before the wedding we went to BKTD tuk ala2 audition gitu.. hahaha.. well actually wat happened was d lady performer, M and d guy P, wanted to perform a few songs for us.. so kira ok la, bole dgr suara diaorg kan.. and suara diaorg mmg best.. but, until d end of tat day we still havent selected d songs to be performed yet. 

there were a few songs yg they didnt have d minus one at that time and that M said they'll sing for us on tat day (3rd april) tuk kitaorg dgr and approve or not.. so we were like ok je la time tu kan..

and then about 2 weeks later, i feel tat we wont have the time to listen to all the songs that hari tu tak sempat nk dgr, and only then betul2 deciding on wat songs to be performed.. coz rehearsal time for us mmg pendek, then i gotta rush for make up pulak kan.. wat i did then was i sms-ed M d list of songs for them to sing during rehearsal.. i chose 5 malay songs and 5 english songs.. kalau ikut agreement, they were supposed to perform 8 songs jer.. so i told her, nanti on tat day we choose la yg mana tak yah nyanyi.. and then i told her it would be better if they just practice on these 10 songs jer drpd practice about 20 songs tp end up nyanyi 8 je kan.. she said ok..

unfortunately, masa kat prince tu, da la dtg set up audio lambat (i thought tentera is supposed to be punctual).. pastu masa kitaorg da start rehearsal pun diaorg tak abis set up lg.. and M was no where to be seen. bila tanya L, L said M tgh fitting.. apa kejadanya ko fitting hari ni??? nape tak buat smlm plg last min pun?? and then yg i geramnya, si L ni bole pulak g tny lagu yg mana yg i pilih.. i was like huhhhh??? kan i da bagi list lagu kat M.. dia reply ok lagi.. i ckp kat dia practice 10 lagu ni, pastu nnti kita pilih yg mana tak yah nyanyi..

maybe coz L felt bad due to their incompetence and agaknya lack of communication with his wife, so L ckp takpe, diaorg nyanyi je semua lagu (i da bulatkan lagu2 yg i nak).. and on top of that, he said nnti kalau tetamu lum abis mkn desert, diaorg juz sambung je nyanyi lagu apa2 before my dad goes up for his speech. if diaorg tak nyanyi, i already have a cd to be played during intermission..

i also specifically requested nyanyi lagu how do i live by trisha yearwood and then disusuli lagu melayu yg mana2 yg i bulatkan and selang seli english melayu.. howeverrrrrrrrrrr... haa geram la ni kan.. they actually started with widuri by broery.. huh? apa lari jauh giler ni?? tp sbb nk kena menten senyum, i senyum jer laaaaa... some of the songs i requested for ada nyanyi.. tp, how do i live i mana???? percayalah i mana??? i wasnt really concentrating lagu apa lg yg diaorg nyanyi tp geram la.. lagu kita mintak tak nyanyi.. baik ckp awal2 ah korang tak yah ar pilih2 tau la kitaorg nk nyanyi apa... haishhhhhh... 

nasib baik i saw one of my guests ckp good songs kat fb dia.. tp i still geram diaorg tak nyanyi lagu yg i nk.. kalau tak bole lebih baik ckp tak bole awal2.. apa laaaa...

~ 4th april : ajoy's reception ~

we woke up around 8am kut tat morning.. penat giler.. then got ready, packed everything and then turun lobby.. i also had to wait for my posie to arrive.. and nurul smpi ngam2 jer.. perfect timing.. :)

pastu smpi je rumah, straighten up few things and then it was already time for make up.. before that dah pakai baju siap2 dah coz takut kelam kabut nanti kan.. hehehe.. and then i realised baju mcm besar sikit laaaaaa... tak obvious sgt but kalau angkat tgn nmpk sgt3 baju tu agak besar.. alamak, terkurus sgt la pulaaaakkkkkkkk... hahahahahahaha!!

pastu tudung pulak.. remember i said i sewa tudung, selendang n veil from arma? ok first of all masa try tudung tu with mummy last thursday i had to borrow mum's tudung coz arma's one is too gelap for my skin tone.. and mum's tudung is d perfect match to my baju anyways.. and then igtkan nk pki tudung jer, malas nk lilit with d selendang coz tak nak sarat sgt..

but then masa letak crown kan kena letak a lot of jarum peniti kan, dah nmpk la pulak jarum peniti tu.. coz the veil is quite jarang.. so terpaksa bukak balik d veil n crown and pakai tudung balik.. but kak zai n i tak reti nk pki d selendang tu.. lilit gini tak cantik.. lilit gitu tak cantik.. last2 my sis to the rescue! she has always been d girl who rescues my tudung sejak dr skolah lg.. hahahaha!

i was ready by 1245 kut.. lambat ckit coz patutnya by tis time da gerak da.. semua psl tudung la ni hehehehe.. 

ok, so kul 1pm kut smpi.. and then my family and us berarak la from rumah2 kedai dkt2 dgn ajoy's house.. d weather tat time sgt2 la panas.. hence my muka panas.. susah tul nk cover muka kepanasan ni.. hahahaha! pastu bila da nk smpi gerbang, we stopped for selawat n doa.. and then berarak ke meja pengantin and khemah vip for my family..

food was superb!! sedap giler.. da la takde org kacau sgt tuk pics so lagi la best makan kan.. hehehehe.. so after makan, we went in for photog session with my family.. pastu family i pun balik.. and then ajoy brought me jumpa tetamu2 lain.. pastu i think around 4pm we went to i-city for post-wed photoshoot.. 

matahari time tu makin2 la panas coz there were no shades at all.. tak tau la apa rupa gmbr kitaorg tu hahaha.. takut muka tahan panas je yg kuar.. :P

all in all, alhamdulillah everything went quite well.. :)

~ 3rd april : aina's reception : part III ~

at 8:30 p.m., ajoy and i went down to the ballroom level.. but we went straight to the vip holding room.. when everybody have already gone in, it was time for us to get ready to march in.. time ni baru la ajoy nk nervous, whilst all these while yg i asyik berdebar2 tu, he felt nothing.. hehehe..

the moment i heard the song endless love played, the 1st flower girl went in followed by 2 more flower girls, 2 brides maids, my maid of honor, the best man and us.. :) masa tak yah nk ckp la berdebar2 nya.. mintak2 tak nmpk dlm gmbr muka cuak hahahaha!!

as i sat on our pelamin, i scanned thru d ballroom.. alhamdulillah nmpk mcm penuh.. tats d beauty of small ballroom i think, walaupun ramai org yg da rsvp tak dtg, tp still nmpk penuh..

then masa mkn, mmg mcm tak dpt nk mkn sgt coz photographers asyik nk amik gmbr plus kwn2 yg approach us to take photos of us.. tp, despite tat, i still rasa happy.. maybe becoz i designed d wedding to be approachable and it worked.. :)

after the wedding ended, we had post wedding photoshoot around prince.. cant wait for the pics to be out!!

~ 3rd april : aina's reception : part II ~

rehearsal time!! hehehehe... 

when i arrived the ballroom, all organizing committee involved in rehearsal da smpi da.. except for the technical crew.. tp takpe la, nothing much to do pun..

tp kan, prince cam kurang efficient ckit la tis time.. not like during my sis's time.. it was already 3:30 p.m. and the rehearsal havent even started yet.. and then their technical crew igt all my music comes from the performers whc is still setting up their sound system.. pastu i told them, no, all pipe in music is using the cds i gave to the event managers, only performance jer pki sound system performers.. i told them i bg 2 sets of cds lg.. rupanyer the event managers yg belum bg diaorg the cds.. huh, wats going on la.. miscom and we have to pay for it by waiting for so long.. 

bkn apa, semua pun nak balik n mandi n siap2 to come back to prince.. only a few je yg nk get ready kat hotel.. da la my make up was supposed to start at 5:00 p.m... so i think around 3:45 p.m. baru la start rehearsal kut.. so around 4:30 p.m. alhamdulillah semua ok da kut.. so i went up and bathed and get partially ready and then start make up da.. 

ok remember my shoes issue? so before start make up kut, sha, make up artist and my mum tgk kasut arma tu.. and everybody said ok bole pakai.. coz its very very light grey, almost white silver-ish.. so shoes issue settled.. hehehehe..

pastu masa nk pakai baju la paling cuak.. coz arma da kecikkan sikit d upper part of the dress coz masa fitting tu that part cam besar sikit.. so masa kak zai zipkan tu i sebok baca bismillahirrahmanirrahim byk2 kali sbb cuak sgt.. takut tak muat.. hahahaha.. nasib baik alhamdulillah perfect fit!! :D

ajoy la plg best.. tak pyh make up.. he can get ready at 8:00 p.m. and still have time to lepak2.. jeles la.. :P

~ 3rd april : aina's reception : part I ~

so it was 3rd april.. i woke up with yet another feeling of butterflies in my stomach.. goshhh berdebarnya.. i have a feeling something will not go d way i want it to..

so in the morning i finished packing.. pastu around 10 am plus da kuar rumah coz nk g cuci keta.. coz keta nanti park at valet, meaning kat dpn hotel, malu la kalau keta kotor giler kan hehehe.. and then after cuci keta we went straight to prince.. igtkan kalau check in awal dpt la bilik awal.. and then we can rest for awhile before going down for rehearsal at 3pm.. but unfortunately, we had to wait for the rooms to be ready.. 

and then i terfikir, baik naik ballroom check out my pelamin while waiting kan.. pastu when i saw my gerbang my heart dropped. cantik giler!!! lg cantik then wat i imagined.. lg cantik then the one arma showed me yg dia pernah buat.. good job arma!

pastu i went in.. again, my heart stopped. cantiknya pelaminkuuuuuuuu... it is just as i imagined.. however as i got closer to the pelamin, i saw some things missing. d first thing missing is one of the important part of the pelamin ~ the fans!!! mano kipas2 eh???

then i feel as though the floor of the pelamin is too bare.. so i need to suggest them to tabur2 petals of flowers later (arma was supposed to come back around 8pm for last minute touches).. pastu tried calling arma tp tak dpt, his hp mcm off tau.. call berpuluh2 kali pun tak dpt.. called his assistant pun tak angkat.. so finally i text jer la psl kipas n bunga2 tu..

pastu teringat tat our baju tu, arma was supposed to give them to michelle.. so text michelle pasal baju.. then michelle called kata takde pun arma bg dia baju.. mak aihhhh menggelabah giler la i masa tu!!! so michelle and i kept on calling arma tp tak dpt2.. mmg da fikir caner ni.. caner ni.. pastu baru teringat nk tny reception counter.. and thank goddddd, they said they did receive a garment bag.. and when d concierge brought the garment bag, i checked the content and alhamdulillah everything is inside.. i just wished d kipas2 was also inside too hehehe.. tp tidak ya..

so i texted arma kata dah jumpa baju.. tp kipas je yg belum ada.. and then i received a longgg text of his explanation whc parts of if does not make sense.. all i could do was just wished everything will follow thru.. tu jer.. 

by the time we got the room key and i checked on sha, my bridesmaid yg tgh make up and gave key cards to my parents and all, i could only go to my room around 230pm kut.. nak rehat pun tak sempat.. tak sempat to bukak tudung pun.. i could just do some things and then it is already time to go down for technical meeting and rehearsal..

..wat i did on friday..

haiiiii... hihihi baru larat nk update ni..

ok so last friday whc is d eve of my wedding, i wanted to do manicure.. sbb my nails are very brittle esp kalau basuh pinggan.. i knw, cam mengada2nya my hands kan hahaha.. but, it still is the case.. so my nails masa tu mmg la sgt buruk da patah sana sini da..

in the morning we went to my MIL's hse and helped out a lil.. cleaning the eggs tuk bunga telur.. i think there were about 1,000 eggs kut to be cleaned.. then around 130pm i went to sunway pyramid with my mum n sis.. actually prior to tat i've been trying n trying to call colour culture at pyramid to fix an appoinment for all of us.. tp call2 takde org angkat pulak.. so kitaorg pun gamble je la g pyramid.. 

pusing punyer pusing baru perasan tat color culture apparently have been replaced by vans.. laaa da tutup rupanyer.. patut la takde org angkat phone.. then we went to the information board and thank god there is another nail bar at pyramid.. 

so we went straight to that nail bar, called jj nails kut.. or something like tat.. saw the price list and it mentioned that manicure is rm38.. ok la tu kan? m not so sure color culture charge brp for manicure, tp kalau mani padi is about rm75-80 kut.. meaning mani should be around d price range of rm35-45 la kut kan..

unfortunately, they could only have 1 customer masa tu.. so my mum n sis went jalan2 ard pyramid.. i have done manicure at about 4 nail bars kut and i'd say d best is of course color culture and d worst, ok not d worst la but d weirdest wud be this jj nails.. sbb u have to get up and wash yr hand yrself.. mcm pelik sgt.. hahahah.. coz usually when i do mani, tak pernah pulak nk kena bgn2.. hahaha..

but, nvrtheless, they did a wonderful job on my nails despite all the weirdness.. and they did choose d perfect nail color for my nails to cover my henna.. if i dont tell anybody, no one knows m actually wearing any cutex.. best giler.. :)

ok, anyway.. after manicure, i went to pick up umbrellas for sunday's reception and then went back to MIL's place.. smpi2 most of the family members da start bungkus telur in bunga telur.. but i was mostly in the kitchen helping mama prepare dinner and wash up.. and boy there was soooo many to wash up! hehehe.. pastu buat bunga telur pulak..

i've already told ajoy max kul 12 kena balik coz i need my sleep (mata cepat sembap) plus tak packing lg tuk tomorow nyer.. but i think in d end we could only leave s.alam ard 1245 am kut.. then balik kemas2 packing2 and all, last2 nearly 2 am gak tido.. so my wish of wanting to sleep early goes down d drain.. again.. hihihi..

all in all, it was a good pre wedding day.. :)

today ajoy n i went to collect our accessories from arma for the majlis bertandang.. for bertandang, our theme is red & silver.. tp kan, susah sgt2 nk cari samping warna red & silver.. so last2 i opted for silver samping & tengkolok for ajoy and thought that i should have something silver too. or so i thought.. nasib baik belum rent lagi.. mcm biasa one day i viewed arma's blog.. they have d red & silver samping!! yeayyyy.. problem solved..

sigh.. or so i thought gak.. rupanyer d red isnt d same shade as our red.. in the blog nmpk cam sama.. tp rupanya arma's ones mcm gelap sikit.. tp coz we didnt have time to go and see if the colour matches n lg la takde time nk cari veil silver for me so takpe la.. amik je la kan.. plus we got the accessories for quite a good price.. tats y da malas nk fikir da.. hihi..

tp.. ada citer sedih sikit.. hampa sikit la.. ok, i tipu, hampa sgtttt.. d first time i went to arma's masa discuss psl design for dress & pelamin, da ckp da nk kasut tutup.. and then da try size kasut da.. tp kan, masa fitting tu, arma kuarkan kasut lain.. peep toe heel.. then i asked him, ni bukan kasut aina kan? coz aina mintak kasut tutup hari tu.. then he was like a ah, kasut aina tak siap lagi.. so rasa cam lega sikit la time tu.. coz i trusted him kan.. pastu masa collect d accessories, i asked if my shoes da siap, and he said da. so mesti la i ckp nk tgk.. pastu lama giler tak ingat punyer dia cari kasut whc i find it weird.. coz if there really is a pair of shoes made for me and tat m gonna use it in a few days shouldnt the shoes be somewhere easily accessible so that he wouldnt forget it nanti? and knowing tat m coming, shouldnt he have the shoes ready should i wanna have a look n try it??

n then, he came out with a pair of shoes tat looked too big for me.. i tried it on, and i was right, it was damn big!! size 6 or 7 ok.. and i wear size 5 for closed shoes.. pastu i ckp kat dia eh nape besar? then he said eh bukan size 6 ke.. errr like helllloooooo.... u assume someone for my build to wear 6?? if u assume i wear 5 but i actually wear 4 or 6 or 7 then it is logical la.. coz 5 is like the most common size!! actually masa tgk d shoes pun tau bukan for me coz the lace seems cream-ish.. not the right color! my heart dropped. pastu i tny la.. so camner ni..

then he went to his display area and took out another pair.. the shoes are grey. light grey. i was like ha ni grey la.. then he said try la dulu. i tried, perfect fit (told ya! grrrrrr...) pastu kan.. ntah la.. nk sedapkan hati dia sendiri kut, he said tak nmpk sgt grey.. so i pun cam nk sedapkan hati sendiri ckp ok je la, da mmg takde kasut lain yg size 5.. whc i dont get it either. sedih sgt rasa sebenarnyer.. bayar mahal2, kata from head to toe yg kita nak tp baju je yg ikut apa i nk.. veil & tudung tu i bole consider lagi pki yg da sedia ada.. but shoes tak bole la.. we're supposed to walk in it, to have a confident stride.. ni kita sdri tau shoes tak matching canerrrrrrr.... i mmg tak bole la camtu..

luckily, my bestfriend has a pair of white shoes she wore for her engagement.. harap2 tat will look better la.. bcoz i am not the type who wears PU shoes for events like these.. to me it should be wrapped in fabric mcm my kasut nikah.. mcm my kasut bertandang.. mcm gmbr ni, tis is my nikah shoes from saidatulnisa..

kalau i tau camni dr awal, kalau la arma ckp awal2 kena pki kasut sedia ada and my size ada dat freaking peep hole ajer dah lama dah i tempah kasut kat saidatulnisa!!! ckp la terus terang i tak buat kasut tuk u! ckp la kasut tuk size u warna putih ada yg ni jer! ckp la terus terang so tat i can make other arrangements awal2!!! ni ckp tgh buat la apa lancau lg alasan la sakit hati la!!!! bayar bapak mahal nk mampus tapi kasut pun takde ke???? uwaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i juz really2 hope tat i wont have problem with my pelamin n hall decor.. really2 crossing my fingers here..
