i am now thinking of wat else yg belum prepare eh..

sometimes it is d small2 stuff tat we usually

overlook kan.. and usually it is these small stuffs

tat will make us run around like crazy! heheh..

so i am now thinking of tat.. apa lagi yg lum prepare..

buy brg2 hantaran done.. make-up booked and trial

will be done next week.. photog booked.. videog booked..

food booked n tasted.. baju sent and will be ready 2mrw..

shoes will be ready by next week.. veil pun kut.. henna

booked and confirmed.. family meeting done..

i guess yg tinggal is to select hantaran decor for my

hantaran, whc will be done tis weekend.. and beading

for my baju pun will be sent around tis week, immediately

when i collect it from my tailor..

wat else eh??

went for fitting yesterday..

n m so happy with my baju..

with the colour that i chose..

cant wait to see how it looks

like with all the beading nanti..

there's still some alterations

to be done.. biasa la tu kan..

will be ready by thursday..

cant wait!!

~ baju pengapit ~

i've been a bridesmaid 3 times in my lifetime..

up til now la.. i never thought picking an

attire to be a bridesmaid is hard..

to me, all we need to know the theme colour

and wat colour the bride wants us to wear n

pick the right baju for it la kan..

but d question here is, wat is the right baju??

to me, it is a simple answer. a simple baju.

nice but simple. we can wear a baju with good

and expensive material, but wear it simple.

for example, not too much beading or sequins..

not too glittery so as to tenggelamkan our friend..

and the colour should be one tone lighter than

our friend's..

it has never really been an issue to me before

maybe because i know where my place is. i

know my friend wants me to still look nice but

not overshadow her. and not to ever2 look

frumpy n ugly as tat will affect her as well..

sadly, some ppl just doesnt have a clue to tis..

well, here's something i picked up when reading

i love promod.. i've loved promod since year

2007 i think.. d year promod invaded msia

n my heart n my wallet.. haha!

it was my ex-colleague leelian who introduced

promod to me and since then i was in love... of

course there were times when some of the

collections are blahhhhh.. but most of the times

the clothes are juz so oh ah-do-ra-ble!!

scarf now, most of my selections are of course

long sleeved.. and those are not, i'll wear them

~ kedai kopi 2 ~

hi girls..

hehe, terlupa lg nk blogging.. been so

bz lately.. biasa la tu kan..

so anyways.. after nikah usually we wud

hv some makan2 right.. and usually it is juz

outside d dewan nikah or house kan.. but

since m doing my nikah at masjid s.alam,

they do not allow us to put up tents in the

masjid area.. plus we're not allowed to use

the dewan mkn on saturdays n sundays..

leceh giler la pulak kan..

so nak tak nak, i had to scout for a place

to hv my mini reception if i can call it tat la..

hehehe..

my mum n i actually went to several place like

kelab shah alam, concorde hotel, blue wave

hotel.. tp of coz, mahal nak giler! i juz want a

place for a very small do after nikah je.. if i

hv to spend tat much baik buat reception terus..

then ajoy suggested kedai kopi 2.. i was not

too thrilled then because i wasnt sure if it

can fit our guests.. but after much persuasion

from ajoy to check out the place, he was

right! spacious.. new.. nice view.. only thing is..

will the food be as good?

but nevertheless, there wasnt really any other

place we could hv our mini reception so we

both agreed with kedai kopi 2.. tat is of course

after my mum hv seen it and gave a nod of

approval.. then we booked the place..

so about the food.. we had our food tasting

last wednesday (041109).. i was extremely

nervous, twisted tummy to the extend but

was relieved at my first bite.. sedapppp!!

alhamdulillah.. made d right choice.. tq syg

5) siapkan brg hantaran - 70% done..

6) food tasting - very very soon.. 80% done..

7) ttpkan jurunikah - done!

8) ttpkan tarikh bulan madu - check!

wow, m almost done! hehehe.. cant wait!

~ gastronomical experience @ tamarind springs ~

last nite ajoy brought me to tamarind springs, ampang..

ever since we became very2 serious he had wanted to

bring me here.. but there were always something going

on tat brought the plan to a halt until last nite.. on my

birthday d whole place was closed for a private ceremony..

on other occasions either ajoy was too bz, or i was.. or

tamarind springs was closed too..

so i was soooo happy tat we finally got to go! and tis time

it is also to celebrate ajoy's achievement in his biz..

by the time we got to tamarind, we were famished.. so

naturally we obeyed our hunger pangs during the

process of selecting wat to eat n ordering n ended up

with too much food! tsk tsk tsk.. da membazir.. hahahaha!!

we ordered 1 bowl of soup each for both of us and 4 dishes..

hehehehe.. and i think i only ate like 3 spoons of rice.. the

rest was more of ratah lauk for me.. i gave my rice to ajoy..

he also didnt ask for seconds.. hehehe.. kenyang giler..

wat did we have and wat was d verdict?

~ asparagus & crabmeat soup

> ok la.. shouldve gone with my other choice.. hehe..

~ deep fried seabass with spicy sauce

> the fish was very fresh n crispy.. but didnt quite like d sauce..

also shouldve gone with d first dish i wanted to order tp x jadi

bcoz d waiter recommended tis.. well, different tongue different

buds huh.. i am not blame him for the choice ok.. :)

~ river lobster with tamarind spicy sauce

> superb! sedap giler.. fresh giler..

~ chicken lemongrass with cashew nuts

> pun sedapppppp jugakkkkk.... mmm yummy!

~ broccoli and tofu with sauce apa ntah..

> very nice! broccoli wasnt over cooked.. nice sauce..

~ orange juice

> sedap.. not too sweet.. not too sour.. juz right.. :)

our bill was rm247.25 hehehe.. d most expensive meal

i've ever eaten for two.. juz like wat i said in my fb.. :)

i juz love love love cakes n cuppies!!!

one of my hantaran items to ajoy will be a cake..

at first i thought of giving him cuppies.. i only

wanted my sis's friend's cuppies.. u can find her

at misscuppylicious.. she's at penang.. jauh, but

dont wory bout tat, she comes down to kl quite often..

however, i couldnt order my cuppies from her coz

she'll be very bz with her sis' wedding.. so nak tak

nak, i had to find other bakers la.. so i was browsing

thru watever sites tat came out from google.. designs

are very nice.. most of them did quite well with d

designs.. but my concern is also whether they tastes

good or not.. tat was y i wanted to go with

misscuppylicious becoz my sis said her cuppies sedap

gilerrr.. n lembut gilerr.. hehehe..

then my sister suggested to go to ribbonsandcakes..

she said her husband n friend said her cake pun sedapppp..

so thats tat.. verdict from my sister is all i need.. browsed

thru her blog n i fell in love with her cakes! some are so

sweet.. and wat made me fell in love with her was her

cute n whimsical n not ordinary designs cakes! hehehe..

i immediately emailed her n told her d designs i want

for my cake n i really hope it would turn out just as i

imagine..

if u have more budget, u can also check out choffles..

i reckon they'd be more expensive as they hv been in d

market since 2001, and they have advertisements in

most wedding n female mags..

those polkies are exactly how i wanted my

although choffles has the name, but i m not sure

if they have d taste.. tat was why i chose

ribbonsncakes.. because she also have beautiful cakes,

and also i know her cakes tastes good.. :)

gosh.. i havent blogged for quite sometime huh..

truth is i was super2 bz with the biz.. well specifically

ajoy's biz hehehe.. i was helping him achieving his n

our dream.. ok, enough bout biz.. not here to talk

bout it, dont worry..

dont hv much to write here.. juz thought of dropping

by with a word or two..

for those who doesnt know, i love reading.. so yday

while waiting for ajoy to do his work (before i learnt

how to do it n jumped in to help him) i bought a new

book! bought it at times @ pavvie (pavilion)..

there's a series of book called little black dress tat i

absolutely love, tp kat times takde la.. bummer.. those

books are so cheap, x smpi rm25.. tis book cost me

about rm35 kut.. tak igt.. mahal.. tp coz it's thicker so

i guess takpe la kan..

i did my reading @ dome while having my favorite

caesar salad there.. there are only 2 places tat i really

enjoy their caesar's ~ dome and borneo baruk club..

sedap.. some place goes ott with all sorts of things

they put in the salad.. jd tak sedap la.. hehe..

but i couldnt really enjoy the book @ dome coz some

of my biz partners joined me later and i guess being

young n not a reader, they dont really understand tat i

want to be alone! and tat i value my reading time tat time..

so i closed my book and layan them borak2.. sighhhhh..

i havent even got to d quarter of the book.. hehehe.. but

i'll get to it soon.. *wink2*
