m sure y'all knw bout tis new show @ astro 707 called cake boss kan? i really love tat show! cake dia cantik2.. in the show, they only show specialty cakes made for special occasions.. now mmg byk cake decorator in msia who can do something like carlos.. tp on a smaller scale rasanya kan..

so i browsed thru carlos bakery website and looked at their wedding cakes.. specialty cakes pun ada but not wat they show on their show.. wedding cakes dia pun cantik2!! here are some of the cakes.. :)

i suka sgt kaftan inspired long dresses canie.. they're perfect for formal dinners or events.. but, i only like those yg hugs at d right areas, and hides certain areas.. cuma yg hijau variante ni je yg agak mencabar nk pakai coz kena betul2 kurus kalau tak nmpk buruk dress tu (bcoz of our own figure) coz terbonjol sana sini nanti.. 

reason why m looking for tis kinda dress is bcoz for my bff's wedding, one of the sessions or events kena pki baju putih.. as i am her maid of honor, so to her, lg la i wajib pki dress putih.. hihihi.. actually she already bought a dress for me to wear nanti (jap lg i explain our agreement for baju bridesmaid) whc is very nice.. tp tak wajib for me to wear tat particular dress, i can wear my own if i want to, tp kena white la.. thing is i mmg dont hv white dress hihihi.. so ada a few things yg buat i cari dress lain actually :-

1) d dress is short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve (tak igt, da lama da beli hehe)

2) d dress is sgt2 jarang.. 

3) i have to look for a white long long sleeved inner yg mcm inner jubah tu whc is soooo hard to look for now.. d last time i nmpk pun was a few months back and d only available size is L and XL only. and d salesgirl pun ckp 'akak, inner canie da tak kuar lg da tau..' mmg da tak nmpk pun da skrg.. :(

4) maybe some ppl would like d cutting of the dress, but i dont quite as much coz it drowns me and it makes my boobs look like its at my waist.. tp ramai je org suka cutting camtu.. for busty ladies, it would look just fine.. but for a bust-less girl like me, nmpk cam takde pape di situ ya.. hahahahah!!!

but, kalau mmg da tak jumpa sgt apa i nak, and mana la tau takde budget to make one myself, then terpaksa la pakai baju tu.. hihihi.. 

so sape2 yg ada idea mana nk cari baju ni for less than rm500 tolongggg la bgtau k.. lg murah lg bagusssss.. :D

**our agreement for baju bridesmaid is kitaorg beli baju tuk each other but after event pulang balik baju tu.. simply put, dress purple tat she wore as my pengapit during my reception tu dia pulang balik to me.. so sama la dgn baju2 yg she bought for me to wear as her pengapit.. 

~ what?!? ~

ni namanya entry SABAR JE LAAAAA... 

i was watching disney's movie wendy wu (yes, i love disney! hikkkk) when d fire alarm suddenly went off.. makin lama makin kuat.. i thought it was juz a false alarm coz org tertekan ke apa ke.. usually tak pernah pulak lama camni.. so i got panicked la kan.. siap tgk luar tingkap kut2 nmpk asap ke, api ke or semua org da turun ke.. yg peliknya kalau ada kebakaran nape takde announcement.. 

so i called ajoy (dia kat tganu) and asked him wat i shud do.. he told me to go down just in case and wat to bring along.. so apa lagi, cepat2 la pakai apa yg patut and grabbed apa yg ajoy suh bwk.. when i opened d door lagi la blasting d sound of the alarm! rupanya kat tepi umah i jer (my apt is end lot).. pastu nmpk some of my neighbours yg a few doors away tgk2.. tp coz jauh so masing2 tak tny apa.. i went straight to the lifts but none of em was working.. alamak kena la turun pki tangga la kan.. 

tp tangga kosong jerrrr.. takde org pun.. pelik gak.. but coz ikut ckp suami, turun je la.. i have to buy some things for my kitchen anyway.. smpi bawah ada la a few ppl tgh lepak kat bwh.. lagi 1 pelik.. coz if there's really fire in the building, sure semua org kena kumpul at carpark kan? but nvm, i know just who to ask.. went straight to our grocery store and tny the storekeeper.. yes, he is d guy i always ask about watever tats wrong with d whole building like electricity hari tu hihi.. and then he said takde apa2 la.. rosak.. 

i was like WHAT?!? rosakkkkk???? adehhhhhh tensionnya.. da la lepas ni nk kena naik tangga to go up.. pastu d storekeeper tny lift rosak ke? so u turun tangga la? hahaha patut la u marah.. haiyoooo.. ohhh so rupanya org2 yg lepak lobby tu is becoz they cant go up sbb lift tak jalan.. mesti rumah diaorg higher up.. as for the lift, m not sure if they automatically shut down when d fire alarm goes off or mmg d guards/maintainance (eh caner nk eja ni ek?? blonde moment jap) yg turn them off.. 

and now the alarm is still ringing my whole house.. hmm, guess tis is one of the disadvantages of staying at end lot or corner lot.. 

~ unwell ~

i've been unwell for almost a week now.. one thing after another.. started with migraine.. pastu migraine da baik, gastric pulak d next day.. and then d next day athsma pulak.. pastu demam on and off, on and off pulak.. mlm kelmarin plg teruk.. i had a terrible headache, and my tummy was bloated, and right after midnight i had a terrible athsma.. i couldnt breathe properly.. many times i just got too tired to breathe tat i just didnt until my lung just couldnt take it, baru gasp for air.. 

tat particular night, luckily ajoy came home just in time. ajoy came home right when i was trying to breathe.. and there he was trying to make me feel better.. putting vicks on me.. *heart melts* and the next day, i was so glad that i was still breathing. seriously. all i felt while trying to breathe is pls let me breathe.. takut sgt da x bnafas kan.. i even mengucap a few times b4 falling asleep, mana la tau kan.. sbb not only i couldnt breathe, my whole body was tingling lain macam.. tat was y i was so glad to be able to wake up and breathing.. alhamdulillah.. but after a couple of hours, i began vomitting pulak.. tghari baru abis visit mr toiletbowl.. 

to top off my illness, d weather was unkindly hot.. i was sweating like an oink oink.. really wanted to bathe tp seriously tak larat.. my knight in shining armour came to my rescue again.. nasib baik dia belum kuar pegi keje.. so he bathed me.. *jantung makin cair* wahhhhh bestnya da kawin!!! hihihi.. *blush* and then d whole day pki seluar panjang n long sleeve n socks at home, so not me!! :P

and then my temperature pun buat hal, kejap ok, kejap tak ok.. smpi la hari ni.. last nite i couldnt sleep smpi la noon juz now.. and of course, woke up with terrible headache.. perut pun meragam lain macam.. 

on top of all these, maybe it's becoz of body heat and d weather, my face is starting to break out.. jerawat around my t-zone.. sigh, bye bye normal complexion, hello combination skin complexion! i miss my old complexion, nk nmpk jerawat pun susah.. and now.. maybe bcoz da makin tua jugak kut.. hahahah! adeh buruk giler muka skrg.. make up pun will tell me sorry girl no amount of concealer can u help u there.. :P

hmmm.. i hope i'll get better very soon.. 

~ pelamin onn aziz ~

on 10th april 10, i attended my friend, irma's wedding @ dewan perdana felda.. i asked her siapa buat pelamin dia.. and she said onn aziz yg buat coz rupanya onn ni mmg buat tuk felda's weddings eh. hihi mana la i tau kan.. so i pun terus la search onn aziz nk tgk gmbr2 pelamin dia yg lain.. byk gak yg cantik2.. tp ada 2 particular ones yg sgt2 cantik to me.. 

d first one is this. theme dia winter wedding kut..

and tis is d 2nd one tat i like.. wat i like about tis is the flower box tu.. yg box lain tu da biasa tgk da kan.. but tat flower box tu yg cam lain ckit.. wats nice about tis is kalau kita amik gmbr eye level pun, dlm gmbr still nmpk bunga2 tu.. not juz d drapes or d wall or d carpet, etc.. :)

~ make up ~

wahh rajinnya berblogging mlm ni.. ;)

i just noticed rupanya i takde pun blog about make up sgt kan.. i mentioned some tuk nikah, but for reception langsung tak sebut hihi.. for both my receptions, m using the same MUA for my nikah.. my MUA is kak zai.. she's my friend who is also a full-time MUA.. and she used to work for saidatulnisa, before kak liza lg.. so masa i nk cari MUA, of course i tny dia dulu la kan.. i go straight to her la, coz we knw each other.. kalau tak mesti kena go thru butik saidatulnisa, maknanya it wud be more than rm500 per event la kan.. same price as kak liza kut.. hihihi.. ye, i ngelat.. i know.. :P

so, attached is hasil kerja tgn kak zai for all my 3 events - nikah, reception and bertandang..

m still all about weddings even tho da bergelar puan.. hihi.. maybe if everybody tat i knw da kawin baru i stop semua benda2 kawin ni kut.. *wink*

tis time i wanna talk about colour palette for weddings.. meaning, the colour we'd like to choose for our nikah and receptions.. wat colour suits this colour, wat colour suits tat colour.. so sites like these can really help you visualise yr wedding dream wedding better.. :)

for my nikah, my palette was hot/shocking pink + light pink + silver..

for my reception, palette chosen was white + lavender + shades of purples + silver..

for bertandang, palette was more simple, red red + silver..

~ spaghetti aglio olio with mushrooms ~

hi everyone! saje nk share recipe.. hihi.. a very simple pasta.. actually i have button mushrooms lebih from my spaghetti sauce i cooked last few days.. pastu fikir2 nk buat apa dgn extra mushrooms ni.. so i figured y not i juz stir fry em and have it with spaghetti.. 

i used angle hair spaghetti coz they cook very fast n they're not too rich gak.. tats y spaghetti nmpk kurus ya.. hihihi.. recipe ni tuk sorang je tau coz i was experimenting jer.. ajoy wanted to eat something else.. ok here's d recipe:

1 portion of spaghetti - boil first

2 cloves of garlic - chopped

1 long cili padi - chopped

2 button mushrooms (canned) - sliced

1 white button mushrooms (fresh) - sliced

chicken cube/stock (ckit jer)

black pepper
salt (if necessary)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

in a heated pan, stir fry the garlic and cili padi.. when it turns slightly brown, put in the chicken cube (i use a small portion jer, secukup rasa) and stir fry lg. pastu put in the mushrooms and dash some black peppers in.. when the garlic da turn almost brown, put in the spaghetti, gaul and done! hihi..

original recipe is to use chili flakes or dried chilies.. tp i dont hv those, so i used chili padi jer, sedap jerrrr... hehe.. and we can always add in prawns, mussels, capsicum and anything we want.. and if we have olive oil, better to substitute olive oil with cooking oil.. happy trying! :)

p/s: i checked recipes from the internet, most of them will sprinkle some parsley flakes & dash some oregano too.. i wanted to do td tp terlupa.. so, put tat in mind when u're preparing yr olio k.. :)
