one day.. insyaAllah when everything works out.. i hope we'll have enough money to renovate and decorate our lil home.. at the moment, we have tonnes of dvds, magazines and books that are piling up because we dont have enough space to put on our existing fixtures.. malas nk beli book/dvd rack lain coz we have other plans nnti bila ada duit.. so for now mmg nmpk messy ar.. hihihihi..

wat we want and aspire is to have our own mini home library consisting of our existing collection of dvds and magazines, and of course lots more books.. we still have a few books at our parents' place.. and also more books that we wanted to buy, and hopefully have enough time to indulge in them..

these are some of home ideas tat i prolly wanna do one day.. hihihi..

::chris medina::

who is chris medina? ajoy and i first met chris at americal idol 10.. hehehe bukan la meet face2face, tgk american idol jer.. so wat is so special about him tat made me blog about him?

actually, it is his love story wit his fiance, juliana ramos.. 2 mths prior to their wedding, julie met with a serious car accident.. she suffered a severe skull fracture, traumatic brain injury and multiple fracture to her beautiful face.. google her, and u will see how beautiful she was.. and now, she's on wheelchair..

but, even though her looks changed, she cant move, she's partially paralyzed n has brain damage, chris loves her wit all his heart.. he helps her mom to take care of her..

it is just their love story, that connection and love they have for each other that touched both our hearts.. i've never cried watching any of the idol's sad stories, but chris and julie's stories really made me cry..

watching them, i just hope that ajoy and i will truly love each other in sickness and health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow.. to promise to love each other unconditionally, to support each other, honor and respect each other, to laugh and to cry with each other, and to cherish each other for as long as we both shall live.. insyaAllah.. amin..

::restoran ayam bakar wong solo::

we really love eating ayam penyet.. all these while we've been going to ayam penyet ria, whc was the 1st ayam penyet restaurant i had a taste of ayam penyet.. hehe.. and then comes so many other ayam penyet restaurants.. this includes wong solo ayam penyet.. i dont knw kat ner lg ada wong solo ayam penyet ni, but we went to the one at sec 7, s.alam.. ajoy said kalau mlm2 mmg packed giler tempat ni..

tempat dia besar.. they took 2 lots.. green all over hehehe.. usually when we order a set of ayam penyet, it includes ayam, salad/raw vege, tauhu goreng n tempe goreng.. and nasi of course is a diff order la.. but at wong solo, those tauhu n tempe goreng kena order asing.. so tonite we ordered ayam penyet for both of us, nasi putih, those tauhu n tempe goreng, nescafe o suam for ajoy, and jus jagung sakinah for me.. yup, nama air tu jus jagung sakinah hahahaha.. i felt i had to have it sbb nama sama hahaha..

ok, verdict?? jus jagung tu ok la.. i prefer the one we had kat dungun lg kut hehehe (tak bole jauh lg ke ek hahaha).. as for the chicken, mmg sedap la ayam dia, mcm kat mana2 ayam penyet lain.. sambal dia pedas nak mampus! masuk mulut je da rasa da hehehe.. kicap yg ada on every table tu pun kicap pedas jugak, tp sedap.. all in all, i think wong solo is a lil pricey for ayam penyet.. i personally still suka sgt2 ayam penyet ria, to me, lum ada kedai ayam penyet leh lawan ibu ruth punyer sambal lg hihihihi..

anyways, we spent rm32 just for the two of us.. agak giler considering mkn ayam penyet jer hahaha.. mana tak nya, nasi putih is rm2.50 per plate ya.. ayam penyet standard rm6.90.. 1 plate of 2 tauhu n 2 tempe goreng costs about rm5.00, my air jagung was rm5.50 and ajoy's nescafe o was rm2.70.. mahal kan air dia?

::kitty cat rescue::

yesterday ard after magrib ajoy n i arrived at my MIL's hse.. few minutes after we arrived mama (my MIL) told us about a kitten/cat tat got stuck in their rain/water shoot for 3 days, counting yesterday.. tp tak tau kat mana.. all they can hear was the cat's meow.. then mama said "ha tu ada lg.." so we went out and followed the sound of that desperate meow and found that the cat has gone down to d drain in front of the gate..

and there it started, kitty cat rescue mission.. we had no idea the size of the cat, let alone knowing it was a very small kitten.. at first my BIL, lan tried to get it out using an umbrella, but it was so far deep that an umbrella wasnt long enough.. so he taped the umbrella to an old mop stick and managed to fish the kitten out.. we were so shocked to see how small it was and amazed that the kitten survived being trapped in water for three days!!

then we brought it in and dried the kitten.. fed it and let it sleep.. wat an eventful evening.. just because of a brave kitty cat.. ^_^

::village park nasi lemak::

once upon a time when i first started working at damansara, ajoy and i used to have bfast at restoran khalifah, uptown almost everyday.. and everytime we leave for my office, we'd pass by this restaurant and we cud see there's always loads of ppl there in the morning.. it made us wonder why.. at first i thought it is a non-halal restaurant as there are so many non-halal restaurants at uptown kan.. but everytime we pass by, there's always about 10-20% of muslim patrons there..

so one day, we decided to go n try have bfast at village park (VP).. ever since then, we go there everyday, except if we were craving for roti canai thn we go down to khalifah la.. hehehe.. we go there so often tat we are now considered one of the regulars there.. and this restaurant has many regulars tat some of the waiters even knw wat we usually order hehehe.. as for us, we usually have our regular hot chinese tea everyday..

as for food.. we found out their best best best food is their nasi lemak..

and seriously mmg sedap giler nasi lemak dia.. hehehe.. the pic above was taken from google.. google the name village park, n u'll find soooo many foodies have gone to village park and found tat their nasi lemak is truly delicious! tu yg byk giler gmbr nasi lemak dia on google tu! :P

as much as i love nasi lemak, somehow i am the type yg tak reti nk mkn nasi lemak with lauk.. nasi lemak biasa is just enough for me, tambah any other lauk je i will mcm dah byk sgt n tak reti nk mkn hehehe.. but, having said tat, i know for a fact tat VP's ayam goreng is sgt2 sedap coz their ayam goreng is like on every pic on google hehehe.. but jgn tkejut, if u have nasi lemak ayam, it will cost u around rm6.50 kut.. nasi lemak biasa will cost u only ard rm2.50.. :)

so if u happen to be around uptown, try la nasi lemak dia..

as for other food.. i love their mee goreng as well.. soto sedap giler2 but they dont hv it right there n there, they'll cook fresh for u.. so kalau pagi2 tu we dont usually order this as it will take time for us hehe.. tp mmg sedap sgt their soto.. other food tak try lg hehehe.. oh yeah, their kopi ais pun sgt sedap!

::the bachelorette six::

salam y'all..

so, any of u watch tis show? at 1st i thought ala tis is just gonna be like any other reality shows.. but boy was i wrong.. i was really entertained by this show - the bachelorette season six with ali fedotowski.. something about her just made me rooting for her, finding love on this show.. so when she's sad, i feel her.. esp when frank did wat he did to her on tat show.. but, i have always felt happy watching her with d man she chose, roberto.. everytime she's with roberto, she's just very2 happy..

as for the ending of the show.. cudnt ask for more.. the setting was so beautiful.. top of a mountain overlooking tahiti waters.. beautiful dress.. beautiful words by roberto.. beautiful ring.. sighhh everything was beautiful laaaa.. hehehe..

glad u chose roberto, ali.. hope both of u will end up married soon.. ;)

this happened to me yesterday during our departmental meeting.. my boss asked me about one of our projects' status and i had to explain knp benda tu lmbt sgt.. as i was explaining to my boss, one of the things i wanted to say was "Dato' byk ubah content.." but instead i said

"ATOK byk ubah content"

and then the whole room erupted with laughter including my boss.. adooooiiiiiii malunyaaaaaaa... mcm mana la dato' bole jadi atok ni!!!! nasib baik tuan punyer bdn takde situ.. kalau tidak ntah2 da kena pecat hahahahahahhahahahaha!!!!! maluuuuuu!!!! :P
